I was working relief in a remote town on the Canada/US border. Closest supermarket was 90 miles away, no phone or TV in the motel room. But in the little truck stop, I found this tape "This Time" by DY. Every day after work, I popped the tape in the rental car tape deck and drove around in the middle of nowhere listening. By the time I left the area, I knew every word of every song by heart. Love DY and his music and keeping me sane in the middle of nowhere.

He had at least 20 years of Country hits. He's 63 years old, got married a few years ago (first time) and had his first child. Goodness he has such a list of songs to pick from. It's difficult to choose just one. "Fast As You" is a good one, fast paced and "Buenas Noches From A Lonely Room", "I'm A Honkey Tonk Man", "Little Sister", and many more. You can't go wrong with any of them. Thank you for the reaction.

Dwight has a phenomenol song called "HE SANG DIXIE AS HE DIED"! It is a song based on a true story. After he moved to L.A. his brother visited him and they ventured out for a walk down the beach where he lived. This is a song that he wrote about something that really impacted them in a major way! Dwight had moved around while growing up, however he was born in Pikeville, Kentucky. It is drastically different from L.A.! Please play "HE SANG DIXIE". I also like his version of the ELVIS songs "SUSPICIOUS MINDS" and "LITTLE SISTER". He is a huge Elvis Presley fan! These are three of my favorites of his! Thanks so much!

I listen to many genres of music. I mainly listen to metal, and rock, but I grew up on country, and blues. Still listen them. Dwight has a special unique voice that I love. Out of all genres, country tells the best stories. The reason I listen to metal more is that I tend to be a really deep thinker, and metal, and classical, tend to be the most complex. If I want to let go and feel though, I go to country. Especially if it's one person, and their guitar. Great video. I really enjoy your country reactions. They've actually reminded me about some great songs I've forgotten about.
