The Dwight rabbit hole is incredible. “Guitars, Cadillacs” “Streets of Bakersfield” and “I Sang Dixie” are amazing. He also did a live cover of “Sloop John B.” He’s backed by a band called The 3 Pears. His vocals are next level!

Guitars and Cadillacs should be next - followed by As Fast as You. He also does a really good cover of Suspicious Minds - and Little Sister by Elvis. I love his voice but think Josh Turner has the BEST voice in country. Dwight comes close though. Love the cadence and flow of this song. Cheers from Canada :)

Dwight has a phenomenol song called "HE SANG DIXIE AS HE DIED"! It is a song based on a true story. After he moved to L.A. his brother visited him and they ventured out for a walk down the beach where he lived. This is a song that he wrote about something that really impacted them in a major way! Dwight had moved around while growing up, however he was born in Pikeville, Kentucky. It is drastically different from L.A.! Please play "HE SANG DIXIE". I also like his version of the ELVIS songs "SUSPICIOUS MINDS" and "LITTLE SISTER". He is a huge Elvis Presley fan! These are three of my favorites of his! Thanks so much!

Dwight spent a lot of time with Buck Owens. For the old guys here, Buck was new type of country when he came out in the 60s. Bakersfield Country. If you ever went through or to Bakersfield, it is a rough town, agriculture, oil fields, hard working blue collar folks. Buck developed a style at the time la bit more upbeat from traditional country. Dwight 100% understands Bakersfield country music and really makes it speak to the listener. The voice, the arrangements, all of it.
