This was the performance that made them famous. Before they took the stage people in Europe had heard of them but had never really seen them. Other bands and the promoters said that when they started to perform everything came to a stop backstage and everyone rushes to watch them. When they finished the crowd was chanting "one more song" and they were now international sensations.

UK rain cannot stop or even slow BABYMETAL. See their performance "karate" at the big D(r)ownload festival when the rain was bucketing down something fierce. They gave an awesome performance as usual so the audience LOVED it and hardly noticed they were soaked through.

These girls perform like they mean it (not saying they don't, but it's so clear from their faces/expressions, how they do their moves, etc.). It's how they win over crowds. Yuimetal and Moametal had just turned 15 days and weeks before this show. It was their first festival show outside of Asia (they only had 2 small shows of themselves in Europe, where they celebrated Yuimetal- and Moametal's birthday). Su-metal was 16. This was a festival, these are fans from other metal bands like: Iron Maiden, Metallica, Anthrax, etc. watching the first band (Babymetal) on the Saturday (second day) on the mainstage. If I remember correctly, someone from the festival said they had never seen such a large crowd that early in the day (I think Babymetal started at 12:00). Babymetal got the torrential pouring rain in 2016 at Download, UK. The Kami band was doing their own soundcheck at Sonisphere and this peaked the interest of the metal crowd. They used some great solos for doing the soundcheck. Babymetal performed at Glastonbury in the UK in 2019. But they clearly had a better reception at Sonisphere than Glastonbury. But the enthusiasm of the crowd did keep building at Glastonbury, so that's good. This song is about bullying, the thumbs up is like: let's make a pact together to stop bullying. Babymetal drew the crowd in part because of the Gimme Choco MV went kind of viral on metal news sites. People were there to see if Babymetal could deliver a good live show or if it's just some gimmick and in that case they would be there for the disaster tourism. And they clearly could deliver ! :-) Su-metal's talent and performance power don't come out if thin air, Suzuka has been on working in the entertainment industry since age 3 (!). The first video we have is her working at age 5. The Babymetal unhelpful guide isn't bad. I think I prefer the Suzuka Nakamoto history video. But I think you should reacting at least one video of Babymetal not being in Babymetal first... I would suggest Sakura Gakuin Song for Smiling, let's see if you can recognize the girls as part of a large group. ;-) A little look at Su-metal's mindset at this gig: (the DEATH! parts are a pun :-) ) Q: After the BudouKan shows you suddenly found yourself flying off to perform overseas, right? How did the Su-metal of the time feel about that development? Su-metal: It certainly was an out of the blue occurrence! (laughs) The first time I went overseas was as BABYMETAL. Q: To be clear, your first overseas trip was to Asia, right? Su-metal:Yes, right. We went to Singapore. And so, up until that point we our only overseas travel had been to Asia. America and Europe almost had the feel of being some world that only existed inside the TV screen. It didn’t really hit home that I was actually going to fly there. When I was told that we would be playing live shows in venues with about 1,0000 people capacities, I was like, ‘No way!’. Q:(laughs) Su-metal: Probably because it hadn’t hit me that we were going overseas to perform; on the airplane it seemed to me more like we were just going on a sightseeing excursion. The extent that I hadn’t comprehended what was going on dawned on me when in the middle of performing a live show I suddenly realized, ‘Hey, I am performing in a foreign land right now!’. Q: The fact that you came to this realization in the middle of a live show tells me that Su-metal hasn’t changed at all. (laughs) But, wait, didn’t you perform at Sonisphere on this trip? And what is more, that was a show where you performed in front of a crowd filled with approximately 60 thousand hard core, foreign Metal fans. When I asked Yuimetal and Moametal about this they said that this fact of ‘being away’ from home was an uneasy feeling for them. How did Su-metal feel about this? Su-metal: Sonisphere was…… Q: You do remember it, right? (laughs) Su-metal: I remember it clearly! It still hadn’t hit me that we were performing overseas when we played at Sonisphere. Speaking honestly, it wasn’t until we walked onto the stage that I realized just how many fans were out there DEATH! Q: Eh?! Su-metal: We were not able to go and check out the venue before we went on stage. It was kind of like we went straight from the dressing room to the stage. Q: Ah, right….you do not do a rehearsal at these Festivals. Su-metal: Right. Perhaps because we saw the audience from a slanted angle it seemed to us that no one was in attendance and we were talking amongst ourselves wondering ‘what we should do’ with out a crowd to play to. But, apparently that was due to the angle that we looked upon the audience. Once we went on stage we realized that there were tons of people out there which immediately made things much more interesting. Q: So that is the meaning behind the grin that Su-metal showed on her face that we, the Hedoban team, witnessed as it was shown on the Sonisphere screen! Su-metal: Personally I was not aware I had done that (laughs). Q: It suddenly got fun? Su-metal: That’s right DEATH! Q: Whoa, that is amazing…. Su-metal: I think I must have been happy about it perhaps, or something…I am not sure what I felt. I am sure though, that it immediately became very enjoyable! What is more the audience in the front were standing there with blank looks of bewilderment on their faces DEATH! Q: Ah, their expressions, right. Su-metal: Right. They had expressions on their faces that said, ‘Hmm? What? Eh!” Q: You could make out those expressions from the stage? Su-metal: Yes, I could see their expressions! When I saw their expressions it made me feel, ‘Alright then, let’s really knock this out of the park!’ DEATH! Q: Their expressions lit your fire? Su-metal: Yes, that’s right DEATH! But, I was nervous so I may not have comprehended what was actually going on. (laughs) Q: The moment you saw their expressions and you got riled up it sounds like the desire to put on a show that would bring enjoyment to everyone overrode your nervousness, right? Su-metal: Yeah, I think that sounds right. There was a sense that there was a definite moment when my mood switched over. Q: BABYMETAL really gets passionate and worked up when you play ‘away from home’. Su-metal: Hehehe. It does seem that way, DEATH!

This was game, set, and match for BABYMETAL! And the reception by the crowd at this festival and at the two gigs at London some days later made them thinking of the UK as their second home ever since. Two years later they played their first arena show outside of Japan in London. The legendary Wembley Arena show which also was the record release show for their second album ("Metal Resistance"). This was the third video I've ever watched back then, when I discovered them three years ago. After seeing this performance there was no turning back for me. Honestly, I never had a real chance to escape them... Since the message of this song is of importance, let me share the lyrics real quick: *IJIME, DAME, ZETTAI* (Bullying, No, Absolutely) [Rururu...] [Ah.] Dreaming, I couldn't have even it. Between the light and the darkness, I stayed alone. Those who got hurt were not only I myself, but also those who kept on watching me. It was you. Confidence, [Have it!] I couldn't have. [Don't be beaten!] I kept on hiding [I dislike to be found!] until yesterday. [Yesterday is gone!] But good-bye to yesterdays' myself. [Bye-bye!] Bullying. [No!] Bullying. [No!] It's disgraceful. [No! No! No! No!] Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone, and we all get badly hurt. Fox, [Fly!] Fox, [Fly!] I'm sure you can fly. [Fly! Fly! Fly! Fly!] Let your pain and sadness all go outside! It's OK because I'll protect you. I didn't show my tears, and in the night I was about to cry, in a room deep inside my heart, I stayed alone. Those who hurt me were not only someone else, but also those who pretended not to notice. It was my friend. Nothing [Nothing!] could I say. [Say nothing!?] I was about to give up [No easy throwing out!] until yesterday. Pain... Aching... All the while... Alone... Your heart... Pretending not to notice... Anymore... I'll never get away. Bullying, No, Absolutely. Full of dearest-ness, it's pressuring but also encouraging. Anymore, anymore your... I don't want to see anymore your tearful face. Bullying. [No!] Bullying. [No!] It's disgraceful. [No! No! No! No!] Sometimes you get hurt, sometimes you hurt someone, and we all get badly hurt. Fox, [Fly!] Fox, [Fly!] I'm sure you can fly. Let your pain and sadness all go outside! It's OK because I'll protect you. Bullying, No, absolutely. [No! No! No! No!] Bullying, No, forever. Bullying, No, absolutely. [No! No! No! No!] Bullying, No, never. Translation by DU-METAL

A lot is said about how they won the uk fans that day, and that is true but something else happened, the UK won Babymetal the girls have said that the UK is their favourite place outside of Japan guaranteeing they will keep returning as much as they can, which is exactly what they have done. I mention this as living on completely the opposite side of the world I am insanely jealous lol. I love your reactions and hope you do go see them the next time they tour there, don’t feel you maybe out of place because their fans aren’t just metal heads there are plenty of K-Pop/J-Pop fans who love them also

Yep their first BIG overseas gig. And as you might know, Sonisphere folks are not easy , if they don't like what they see and hear there. They may throw ugly things at you and worse things. But the girls slapped them away (although Yui ripped her tutu due to wild dancing). They said they were very nervous before that, but what they delivered...well as always (yappari) and yes it is a very famous festival in GB, so the audience is not a Babymetal one. What makes this even more astonishing.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🚫 Nice Su-metal poster. I'll admit, that's the first thing I looked for once I saw your WALL OF BIAS had been rearranged. Yes, this was their first UK show (they headlined at the Forum two days later). They had a couple of smaller concerts in Europe leading up to this. They played Paris on July 1st, and Cologne on July 3rd. Those were the shows were Yui and Moa took over lead vocals on 'Headbanger!!!' to celebrate their fifteenth birthdays. I'd say that the "thumbs up" represents determination, and when they all bring their thumbs together, it's to demonstrate a bond of friendship. Of course my favorite thing about 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' is still the part where Su-metal threatens to kick Yui and Moa in the head if they don't stop bullying each other. : ) Also, in this performance did you see Yui's costume start to unravel?

11:35 - There were 65,000 at the festival and it looks like a lot had turned up to get their first glimpse of Babymetal, who were only given a 30 minute slot in the morning, so not the best slot by far as I think many would have stayed up quite late the night before and may have had a beer or two as well. The "other stage" you can see is the lights and sound mixing desk. Did you notice (I didn't for many viewings) that Yui's skirt had got caught on her wristband and had ripped a strip loose that hung there for the whole performance. As always with these highly professional girls, Yui didn't let that stop her (hell, a year later she fell off the stage and came back on for the next song). Not sure what the thumbs up was for, although it's probably just an affirmative for the words they just sang (Bullying, No More, Forever), although every single gesture, shape or step they make in their routine will always be an interpretation of the lyrics. Every moment means something with Babymetal. The 'fan chant' at the end (of this and every final concert song) is just Su shouting "We are..." and then Yui and Moa and everyone who loves them shouts back "...BABYMETAL!" It refers to The One, the Babymetal fanbase, plus the Band, plus everyone who made the show possible and, of course, Su, Yui and Moa - all of whom make up The One. Su's oh-so-ecstatically happy smile (13:56) at getting the response from the crowd - as they had no idea how they'd go down - always makes me so happy for her. Oh, and that look from our queen Su as they walk off stage always seems to me as if she was thinking "Your souls are mine now" - which is fine by me. They sold more merchandise that weekend than any other band there after this - so many souls!

you talk about confidence when talking about Su. ok this show was their first big festival outside of Japan. they were changed to main stage couple months before. they didnt think anybody was there to see them. they had only expected maybe 5000 to 6000 people for them but they didnt know it was 60,000 until they walked out on stage. their second song was Gimmie Chocolate. in the middle of the song Su had a sing along with the crowd in Japanese. how confident do you have to be to go in front of a foreign crowd and get them to sing in Japanese with you? kzbin.info/www/bejne/jp2wc6eud9GhbLc here is the link to that if you want to see it they did five songs and this was the last. at the last you cna see people are screaming we want more. Babymetal merchandise outsold all other bands for the next three days after this show. this was the beginning of world domination.
@mr.osclasses50544 жыл бұрын
What's more important to remember about that confidence...and down right courage they displayed that day, is that there had been people threatening the throw things at the stage, including bottles filled with urine, to show their displeasure with the group and the people running Sonisphere for booking them and putting them on the main stage instead of another "better" band. As you said, in the end a VAST majority of the crowd was chanting for more.

I think of what I was doing as a teenager... and then compare it to what they’re doing. It goes beyond appreciation of a great musical performance... they are actually heroic to me here. Posted this earlier with someone else who reacted to this. By the way I was there, As Sonisphere was just outside Stevenage, which is 4 stops away from me on the train. And had to buy 2 tickets for the festival, which will be explained below. And I was only going for Babymetal. I met some great people there some that I still see at Babymetal gigs now. Oh!! And it was only a light shower. Ah!! Sonisphere, maybe the one thing that made Babymetal what they are today. It all started with a Facebook campaign, some started a post to try and get Sonisphere to invite Babymetal to play there, which started to gather some pace, and the people who book the bands took notice and offered them a slot (something they admitted on the website). At the time it was very rare for Japanese bands to play outside the Asian market, as there is not normally the fan base for it. But the Babymetal management took a leap of faith and booked 3 shows plus Sonisphere, 2 shows before and 1 in London after it. At Sonisphere they were supposed to be in a side tent on the Sunday. But when they were announced, due to the interest they generated, also the London show selling out in a few hours (1k). A week after the announcement, they got moved to the main stage on the Saturday as openers and the London show got moved to a bigger venue (2.5k) which sold out in a week. The tent they were 1st going to play holds about 5k, and as you may see from the video there may have been up to 50k watching them. The thing with openers at Sonisphere, is that openers normally get about 5k or 10k if you are known. There was 1 guy there, working, who guided the press in to the area in front of the stage, he just happened to own a company that organises tours around Europe. When he saw the size of the crowd and the effect they had on the people there, he realised this was a band going places, so offered his services after the show, which they took him up on. In an interview about the show, SuMetal said that from backstage they could not see the crowd, due to the height of the stage and them being short (5'2"), and she thought that there was only about 500 people there at most. They had also been warned that if the crowd does not like you, they will throw bottles at you. But when they walked out on to the stage all they could see was a sea of faces. So when they walked out to Babymetal Death, they were all very nervous. If you ever watch the fan cam's of that, you can see the point Su realises that they had won the crowd over, and they were starting to eat everything up. It's near the end of BMD when she walks up to the front of the stage and a small smile come on to her face, one of we've got this. And they turned all the nervous energy in to one of the best acts to play that whole 3-day event. And so started Babymetal love of the UK, which was really helped by the London show, 2 days later.

So it is time for one of my long posts. I'm sorry 🤣 Let's start with the background of this performance. This was on summer 2014 (girls were 16/15/15), just some months after the Legend 1997 show were Gimme Chocolate!! was recorded, the video was uploaded to KZbin and as a surprise for everyone it went viral. You know why, because it was mindblowing, well produced and brilliantly performed. But the Heavy Metal scene is really picky sometimes and when the Gimme Choco video exploded, Babymetal was not well taken by a part of the more deeproots western metal scene. As they went viral, they got a place at the main stage of Sonisphere, just before some of the biggest metal acts for the day (mainly Iron Maiden that played later). Some people got really angry that an idol "pop" band took a spot in a festival so prestigious and rage got across the internet, some people even threatened to throw bottles to the stage. Of course those few pioneer Babymetal british fans from 2014 at Sonisphere wouldn't have let them, but the threats were around. Imagine what that meant for the girls, at their age, the first time in their life flying out to Europe, just put in front of 60.000 british drunk metal heads with some of them really pissed and skeptical at what they were doing. There are some backstage pictures of them just before jumping to the stage and they all look really afraid: -i.imgur.com/macMzut.jpg But you just watched it. It was a very short set, five songs I think, and Ijime, Dame, Zettai closed the show. And there you had that crowd just enjoying and going crazy with their talent while they were singing against the bullying in school. Everybody was crying _we want more_ at the end of the show and their merch was one of the most sold at the end of the festival. Babymetal's legend and romance with the UK really started there. Also, did you realize that Yui skirt had broken? And there she was ending the show with all her professionalism just two weeks after her fifteenth birthday. About the song, it is one of the faster and more Power Metal songs they have, usually played as a concert closer during the first album era. Also one of their most popular songs. Ijime (Bullying), Dame (Never), Zettai (Absolutely) is a song that speaks about being down during a bullying episode and the girls tell the person who is suffering to stand and fight because she has the girls support. That's why all the thumbs up, the fight scene and everything. It's a cheering hymn. About songs...yes, if you are willing to try _out of KZbin_ content I think you should try the combo of Tales of the Destinies + The One as a next step, as is one of their best and most special performances. Just commented it on reactions channel of Babymetal discord and they seem to agree. I think it is safe to give you a bit of a background on that performance. When Su was at Sakura Gakuin her teacher asked her what was her dream, and she told him it was to sing some day at Tokyo Dome. That show was at Tokyo Dome just 4 years later when she was 18 year old, a baseball stadium full of 55.000 persons for two days in a row (110k in total). Tales of the Destinies is a very complex song that goes in pack with The One, as they were composed as the same song at first. It has been played live only once, there, because it is musically really complex and hard to play. And The One is just a song dedicated to us, The One. A really beautiful show, you should not wait to do it. This is the link we have of the performance (it's a long one!). vk.com/video408956197_456239019

I'm happy to say I've been able to see them live at least once every year they've played the UK since. At some point you're going to have to react to Lovebites. Not only was this their first performance in the UK, it was their first overseas performance (excluding Singapore), their first in front of a western crowd, and the largest crowd they had ever performed for. How they would be perceived was a complete unknown and there was certainly some concern among the fans at the time. You can see the tension and aprehension in their faces as they wait to take the stage i.imgur.com/buRiSpy.jpg . They later said they could not see the audience so were worried it would be an empty crowd. Upon taking the stage and seeing the 60,000 people waiting for them, most of whom had no idea who they were, Su later said it gave her motivation to knock their socks off. You can see some of that determination taking shape on her face as they take the stage. imgur.com/HgCxEz0 . She succeeded, as you can tell from this video. This was the last song of their set and you can see Su knows they've won the audience over. This is the performance that put Babymetal on the map. It is a performance that went into the DNA of who Babymetal is.... the "no fear, we can do anything if we take it on together" mindet. In the subsequent weeks, they sold out the O2 Forum and Brixton Acadamy, both performances later released as "Live in London", which many people consider among their best performances.

Great reaction, thanks! IDZ is easily on my top five for sure (huge power metal fan here, so...). I'm so glad you enjoyed this one, being a very important piece of BABYMETAL history as you are already told. People at those festivals can be a little rude if the band doesn't match their expectations (they throw disgusting things and so). But the fact is that they won over that UK crowd and left them shouting "we want more". And that is an epic win! Loved when you pointed out Su's confidence. That was the last song of a short setlist and she already knew they were winning but they were a little worried before coming out on stage for the reasons mentioned above. Well I'm sure Suzuka wasn't nervous... she's known for taking a nap before coming on stage with her former girl group, in front of an audience of 20k, when she was 10yo. So I guess that, six years later, this was a piece of cake for her :) See you next time!

You're right when you talk about the power they have to charm the entire crowd and to just make everyone feel like one. Which is probably why we're all called The One. I will never forget the feeling of being at a concert of theirs. The atmosphere was just incredible. It was the first time they came to Belgium. Luckily before all the misery with the lockdowns started. Of course it's sad that Yui isn't with them anymore, but Momoko who was the avenger that night did an incredible job too. She's cute in her own way as well : )

Japanese 1, 2, 3 is "Ichi, ni, san" ;). You were already told what the song title means. It's one of their early "big songs" that were performed at every show (the others being Megitsune, Gimme Chocolate and Headbanger). But they stopped performing it after Legend S in 2017 (Su's 20th birthday show) after Yui went on hiatus. In night two of their Metal Galaxy concerts in January 2020 was the first time they played the song again, this time with all three of the Avengers on stage together and the first time we hear their voices whilst being associated with Babymetal, even though it's only on the backing track. I don't think there's one 5 - 15 minute video to get to know them better. There are the clips of the channel I linked you under your Onedari Daisakusen reaction (kzbin.info/door/9af9uxsbp1Td9EUIXA2RkAvideos). You could make a seperate video of every member's two clips (each of the three girls has 2 three to six minute clips and then there are two of Moa&Yui together) or a video with one clip each or a big one of all of them/the ones you're interested in, etc. Then there's the well made and funny "Unhelpful guide to Babymetal" video some people already linked, but that's 40 minutes long. Then there are the super funny Sakura Gakuin clips, for example their nendo tests (year end school test), music videos and so on, but that's another big hole you could fall into if you're not careful. And lastly, if you decide you only want to read up on it because there's just too much stuff, I can recommend this website du-metal.blogspot.com/2013/09/biography.html.

"No more Bullying, Forever!!!" Its Babymetal! Yay! Waiting for your Babymetal reactions always makes me wish I had a time skip ability! In any case! Everyone has already been through and answered your questions, but I've a few things to add. So...that thing you called a metal conga...thats a mosh pit lol! So, there are already various types of pits (plain mosh, wall of death, circle pit, ect), but the general idea is a bunch of people bashing against each other (and sometimes even deliberately throwing punches and trampling on people who fall), and then Babymetal have their own variations (as with many other things lol). Babymetal mosh pits are called Moshsh (Moshushu) pits. These are typically circle pits (pits where the crowd literally run in a circle), but Babymetal pits are nice and friendly. If someone falls, people help them up, and there is no deliberate hitting! This being a UK fest, it had UK moshers, so there was the bashing and hitting here, but on their home turf that doesn't happen. We western fans have gradually noticed this and now a lot of their foreign shows are adopting the Moshsh. All Babymetal fans tend to be nicer people anyway! With that! Great reaction as usual, and Yay for Su finally making it to the wall of bias! Maybe in the next Babymetal reaction, could you please give us a better look? Gonna recommend Awadama Fever (grindy music and super cute vocals and choreo) or Night Night Burn (my fav from Galaxy). Kitsune up! \m/ (Edit: typo)

This was a huge deal as they were on the main stage essentially opening for Anthrax, Deftones and Iron Maiden in front of hardcore metal fans who had little idea who they were. It had the potential to go either way if the crowd had turned against them but it didn't take long to win them over.
@Wombatmetal4 жыл бұрын
Sonisphere is a festival on the scale of Glastonbury, but for metal. The act that was closing this stage that day was Iron Maiden. There were 50-60k people in the crowd. They completely won the crowd over, virtually no one had heard the band before they saw them. Just another legend. The thumbs up, the name of the song translates to No More Bullying Forever. When they hold the thumbs up to each other, Su is singing, "Let your pain and sadness all go outside! It's OK because I'll protect you." They have had a lot of reactions to this song, including a letter Su talked about in an interview, from a UK fan who was afraid to leave their home because of bullies, but this song gave the fan the courage to face them down. This performance was their coming out on the world stage. It was their first trip outside of Asia, and their first Western metal festival. They had played a gig in Paris and another in Cologne as a warmup, for less than 2,000 fans total. And here it was over 50,000. There is a story on Su's confidence. 5 years before this she was in a group called Karen Girl's, which promoted an anime. They were to perform before a crowd of 25,000 at he Saitama Super Arena. Su was 11 or so, and the other two girls were 12. The other two were nervous about the size of the crowd, and the staff had to ease their concerns. When it came time to perform, they had to wake Su up. She was bored and took a nap. She wasn't concerned at all about the crowd.

So yeah, that song was an anti bullying song. And no, ijime dame zettai isn't 1, 2, 3 😅 Ijime is bullying, dame is "not good", zettai is "absolutely", turned into "no more, bullying, forever" as seen at the end but it was at the bottom of the screen. Might be wrong about the thumbs up, but could be from the lyrics saying "it's ok, I'll protect you", and the whole choreography was related to the bullying, with Su kicking them to stop, at the end of the solo. About a guide, there's one I found useful (despite its name saying unhelpful guide to Babymetal 😂) available here : kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2rbg5yFd6xraNk It's quite long, almost 40 minutes, but has many informations. I'm totally with you when you say that seeing the (previously sceptical) crowd cheer at the end makes you happy. The girls were very nervous before the show, expecting the worst, and after the last "We are" you can see the weight falling off Su's shoulders. They had done a great job once again, and the crowd loved them, which at that point meant that the West was ready to accept BABYMETAL. Well done! BABYMETAL played at Glastonbury in 2019. It wasn't one of their best shows, mostly because the crowd was more of a Pop crowd and didn't quite know what to make of them, and the sound was mediocre as well. But they certainly got some recognition, all of the reviews spoke pretty highly of them.

A video explaining Babymetal has to include their origins, so I would suggest doing a couple of reactions to Sakura Gakuin before doing that as Babymetal started as Sakura Gakuin's heavy music club. A good song to start with is My Graduation Toss. It was the last single Su released with the group and she takes centre stage (she was the only senior that year- Sakura Gakuin is based on the concept of a school, so senior members graduate every March and they get new transfer students in late April/early May). The official music video is excellent, or you could try to find the live performance from Su's graduation show. It was the final song of the show and Su single handedly held the group together while everyone else was breaking down.

The entertainment media in Japan didn't know to make of this, there had not been a Japanese entertainer with the International impact of Babymetal metal since XJapan. Nice reaction and thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 "Dame Zettai (= absolutely no)" part of this title is originated from police campaign against illegal drugs which had started 1960s. So this song emphasizes that "Ijime (= bullying)" is considered as worst thing as illegal drugs. Although we have not been able to eliminate "Ijime" from our society yet unfortunately, we have to continue our efforts at home and in school. Sonisphere(2014), Download UK(2016), Wembley (2016), Glastonbury (2019), Eventim Apollo (2020) ... etc. As Chris Harris commented below, BABYMETAL said UK was their favorite place (second homeland) because many epic events have taken place there and boosted them into world market. Japanese fandom appreciate UK fans and I am sure that we already gave up fighting with UK over the territorial right to BABYMETAL (LOL). Anyway our Queen Su-Metal never forgive fans fighting among them. They are something like Moon or Antarctica. No one owns it, everyone shares it. Anyone can enjoy their literally "world-class" performance.
