There was a time, over 800 years ago when Arabs and Muslims were in the ascendancy in a secular sense. Leading Europe in Science, Astronomy, Mathematics and Medicine and Architecture, not to mention literature and poetry. That's not completely true now is it. Other than the 10's of millions given to UNRWA over the decades, we have given £100M to Palestine since last year. Also David Cameron blocked Israel's request to stop Turkey from providing Hamas with weapons and missiles on several occasions, even financially aiding the safe passage of such weaponry.
