Thank you for your question. I have lived in four Muslim countries. Lebanon, Syria, Morocco, Turkey and briefly stayed in Malaysia. The most obvious thing I've noticed is that all these countries are all different. They use Islam differently to interpret and influence their laws. Inside each country there are communities that further interpret those laws. I made a video on my channel about this very point: It's called "Islam doesn't exist". I think now in May 2024 the British people are realising the UK is finished and that a lot of the 60 plus Muslim majority countries have in general preserved traditional family values which have been destroyed in the UK and getting a lot worse alongside the high crime rates and mental health. It seems that there are a lot of opinions about this topic in the UK, but its good to see youngers not beleiving in the western media (things such as terrorism, women's rights being taken...)

Because the UK is mostly an atheist country, people tend to see religion as one thing. We don't really make the distinction between Christianity and Islam, for example. To most Brits it's a binary issue of belief and non-belief. This is why, in general, we don't care what you believe. Also, people are very aware of how we are manipulated by the media. There is a lot of mis-trust and suspicion about how Islam is reported.

I always find it funny when Muslims, Christians and Jews claim their religion started these things. When we all worshiped Zeus, people knew the world wasn't flat. We helped the poor and had a sense of morality and goodness.

we believe Islam is the last update, and it is not a different religion but a last doctrine. Allah (The God) sent us many prophets and messengers to guide us along as humanity progressed since Adam until now, and Mohammed is the last one because the religion is completed and the message fully transmitted. As humanity's understanding of faith and morals completed compared to the previous nations, our perception of time is different from Allah's understanding and capacity. So, Allah knows best. I know that other nations had morals and faith before the appearance of the Abrahamic religion, but the concept of these abstract concepts was never man-made. It may seem so, but we believe and know that people mispreserved things because of time, wars, and human errors. Basically, most of these morals in pure form are influenced by Allah, and we received them from the messengers assigned to any nation at its own time, culture, understanding, and language. So, it was never different religions; it is one, as God is one. Other errors are from humans, but the message is the same: to worship God alone and to not worship anything else.​@GariSullivan

The views expressed in this strret interview are mostly tolerant and moderate as to the way people in the UK perceive Islam and living in a Muslim country. Those who aren't belong to people who seemingly have never been to a Muslim country and/or form their opinions based on stereotypes and media bias. This validates a rule of thumb: ignorance breeds extremism.

Because of attention span restrictions, we have to cut our videos down and only give a flavour of what was said by the general public. All the people we spoke to were very tolerant towards the idea of Islam and Muslims in general. The negative views are represented in this video and are often acknowledged with an understanding that they come from the media. Personally, I know racist people in the UK. I thought we would come across some of them in the street, but we honestly didn't.
