The trouble is that is is so easily abused by industry just like the health and safety regulations. A company can get a BSI standard on one product only and you assume all the products they make are up to the same standard which can often be far from the truth. From personal experience I wouldn’t assume that just because a company uses this as an advertising tool that all their products and working practices are up to standard. Be warned and look very very closely , it could be that only one product in the catalogue is BSI approved and the rest of the products are poorly made and not up to any standard at all. I have been producing a product that has the kite mark and I really can’t understand how it and the manufacturing process could be approved by anybody.
