Very good job Sheffield BTP, you put GMP, Essex, Nottingham and Metropolitan Police to absolute shame. This was pretty much a perfect audit from AY, he had great interactions with PC #8132, PC #7132 and Sgt. #0352, it makes a pleasant and refreshing change watching a good, positive and friendly interaction with the police. Being in the police force seems to change a lot of men and women's natural character, they become too serious, moody, prideful and ego narcissistic which is not good, considering they have to engage with many members of the public on a daily basis and need/required to remain professional and respectful at all times; but sadly many constables and officers fall prey to the job and allow it to heavily corrupt and alter them into a person they shouldn't of allowed themselves to become.

It would be great if the Officers who behaved badly can have a look at what excellent Police Officers are like. Obviously, an aggressive approach is not what is needed. I am sure that so many good Officers look at the audits in which Officers didn't communicate properly, used their power to stop and search in an incorrect way, behaved aggressively etc and I am sure that they think that they could have handled things a bit more adeptly. It is so lovely when there is a positive interaction with members of the public. Even things such as an Officer taking the time to introduce himself or herself can have a positive effect upon any subsequent conversations.

If done in the right way, holding our public services to account can add real value. However, making comments that people are looking at your camera is a little pointless - of course people are looking, although legal, it isn’t ‘normal’ in society. Also, there could be people in that public place who ideally don’t want to be posted online, including those sheltering from abuse and adopted children.
