My personal favorites are Turbulence, Be With You, Mist, Light, Star 1117, Not Too Late, and Everything (a solo sung by Jongho) Ateez is usually called a performance group by how great their performance, dancing, and stage presence is. It's probably why they have a more upbeat and dancey feel to most of their songs.

Yes, you're right, he's main vocalist, Jongho. Since you mentioned Baekhyun, Jongho's trained by same vocal teacher as him & when his teacher was asked his top 3 students he chose Jongho, Baekhyun & Haechan. Since you're interested in ballads, here are some other than the ones they performed in Killing voice: Everything (Jongho's solo track), Be with You, Star 1117, Mist, All about you, Light, One day at a Time, Letter, Dreamy Day, Days, Blue Summer, Better, Diamond, New World. These all tracks have live performances except All about you & Blue Summer. Also, I suggest to check out their live performances from Kingdom & Immortal songs, they're the only kpop grp to win immortal songs 4 times (it doesn't allow lip syncing). Also, Ateez are known for their live performances (intense choreo + live vocals + facial expressions). So you can also check out their Coachella performance if you want. Also, if you're interested, all members also release their solo covers on Ateez's official KZbin channel, that'll give you nor insight about their voices, especially Wooyoung & Yeosang since they don't get much vocal parts in their songs. The word you were looking for is it's very buttery when they all sing falsetto. I had the pleasure of seeing them two weeks ago in concert, and it was 3 hours of NON-STOP PERFORMING. No intermission, I've never experienced such incredible talent in my life. Thank you for watching and reacting to them. You will be seeing so much more of them in the future, I'm sure. Jongho is the best vocalist in K-pop to date.

Empty Box and Turbulence are both ballads actually. But if it’s not ballady enough for you, then Jongho (guy on the end with the amazing voice) has a solo song with a music video called Everything. That should satisfy your ballad craving.

Since you really enjoyed Jongho's vocals, you really should check out Dear Name by Jongho and San (the 2 guys on the far left in the video, the 2 main vocals) Its a really soft heart touching song with strong and mellow vocals, a good mix i think youd love to see.

LOVE POEM! You must watch it! There is a trio song with Jongho you HAVE TO WATCH, called 'Love Poem'. Ateez performed on Kingdom (basically a battle of the bands) and Jongho, Seungmin from Stray Kids, and Eungkwang from BTOB performed the most tear-jerking version of the ballad that was originally done by female idol IU. You will cry your eyes out and their vocals AND HARMONIES are TOP TIER!!!!

Mingi, the silver haired rapper was recovering from an illness which required a vocal break. He does normally have a gruff voice, but it was extra gruff here. Since you like Killing Voice, I recommend Sound Bomb 360 where artists sing a song using special equipment that makes listening with headphones feel more immersive. ATEEZ was their first guest. They sang Dreamy Day.

Quickly, ATEEZ is 8 members, all present at this performance. From left to right, Jongho, San, Wooyoung, Yeosang, Hong Joong (group Captain), Yunho, Mingi, and Seonghwa. Youngest on the left, oldest on the right (coincidentally). All of these songs have MVs except Fever, so I recommend checking out the full versions of anything you liked here. Also, they do have ballads, including Turbulence and Empty Box, both showcased here, but in context they don't seem quite as slowed down as they are when taken individually. If you wanted slower songs that showcase vocals, though, I'd recommend Mist, Star 1117, Twilight (which is upbeat, but vocal heavy), and Light. Since Jongho is a belter, his parts to play aren't limited to the ballads like it might be in other groups. You can check all his solo stuff, I recommend his OST solo Gravity, and his performance on Immortal Songs (either of them), and his duet with fellow group member San. They have mannny things to recommend them, and Killing Voice is just a good sample.

Especially the physical reaction, the spazzing out over our vocal king Jongho's (leftmost dude) strong high notes 😂 I have watched over 40 different reactions to this Killing Voice (bc im a jobless hardcore Atiny) and every one of them falls in love with Jongho & Mingi (silver hair). I love all these 8 young men so much but personally the voice that always gets to me, besides Jongho's, is Seonghwa's (rightmost, Utopian falsetto 😅). He is very versatile and in almost every song, he gets the part that I vibe with the most. I'd love to share this recommendation of 2 other versions of 「 Answer 」 with you: 1/ Answer (Ode to Joy) - Ateez feat. La Poem - there is a stage performance of it that they did on the Kingdom competition show - there is a different audio version of it (which includes Mingi's rap verses, because he was on hiatus during Kingdom) and it's in their Fever Epilogue album 2/ Answer - cover by La Poem La Poem is a male vocal crossover group. You can find this cover on their youtube. They also have their own Killing Voice video. Enjoy ~~~~~

If you want more EDM type music then you want to look at their B sides. Start with their song Cyberpunk (either a lyric video or a live performance with their crazy choreography) and then pretty much all of the B sides from their The World episode 2: Outlaw album. Other Atinys can recommend others that I can’t think of at the moment.

It's a cover of a well known IU song and it's awesome! Also, Jongho did a solo cover of a song called Wildflower that is absolutely mind-blowingly good!! they do have a couple ballads but those aren’t very popular and are quite the opposite of what they’re known for as a group. they’re very well known for high energy tracks and explosive performances (you caught on to the edm focused track), but the members love to make up for that by flexing their vocals in covers (usually ballads). Here are some notable ones: So You - Jongho (this is jongho in top form, can’t miss it) Dear Name - San and Jongho Empty - Seonghwa (it’s a karaoke vid, but it’s amazing) Hug Me - Yeosang (our fav baritone! he didn’t sing much in this vid) Even if it’s your happiness - Yunho (a japanese cover! his voice is so pretty) Tunnel- Mingi (the raspy rapper in brown you kept pointing out, but in this original you get to hear him sing over a altrock track) I’d also suggest Everything by Jongho, his solo

I'm later to the party, sorry about that. Honestly, Ateez has no bad songs. (Musician here from a very young age. I'm REALLY picky about music and it is very rare for me to find a group that has no songs that I dislike.) Some of my favorites from Ateez that I would recommend include (but are not limited to): Wonderland, Halazia, Inception, all of the ones showcased here, Django, Arriba, Cyberpunk (those three don't have MVs, so you have to go watch a live performance, I'm sure you're disappointed), Dancing Like Butterfly Wings, Not Okay (more recent Japanese single and it's AMAZING), they also did a collab with the Japanese group Be:First called Hush-Hush that is beyond fantastic), Promise, Black Cat Nero (it's a cover, but they did both a live and a performance video of it and it's so much fun), Dreamers (another Japanese single that is just lovely and softer), and pretty much anything they have. Their covers and solos are equally amazing. I've seen several mentioned in the comments. Fantastic Baby is one of my most played of all of their cover videos. Jongho's Gravity is one of my absolute favorites and is frequently in my playlist. Dear Name by Jongho and San... their voices blend so beautifully! Hug Me by Yeosang makes me cry because he manages to emote such powerful emotions through the entire song/video. Tunnel by Mingi is a favorite that I am so desperate for a copy of, I can taste it. Hongjoong has a bunch of older covers on the Ateez channel that are well worth watching/listening to. Seriously, you can't go wrong with them. If you want to branch out a little to other interesting voice combinations, if you haven't already, give Forestella a try. They are not a Kpop group, they are more of a classical crossover group, but they have performed on Immortal Songs quite a few times and are incredibly impressive. They have one Kpop style song that they did specifically for their fans called "Kool" and it's just so much fun. I love them. (They are why I laugh when people call Mingi or Yeosang bass singers. They aren't, but Woorim from Forestella is.)

The truth is that everyone hates him right now, if you praise him the truth is that not many will like it. I absolutely love reactions to that Killing Voice but things are very sensitive.
