Great video! I've noticed the difference between the sleeker/cleaner looking webbing straps but didn't really know why they had the differences, makes sense that it's earlier war production. Did Canadian webbing usually stick with the higher quality production? Majority of Canadian straps I come across are the nicer looking ones and the belts tend to have the brass most the time and I usually only see the cheaper variants online in the UK, keep up the excellent videos!

Cheers mate and yeah Canadian manufacture didn't economise like in the UK the same case with battledress.
