Carol is a very close family friend. My family and I lived in California and she would babysit us on occasion. We all came back to the UK together, and have remained friends. We regularly call each other. She is definitely the 7th Python!

It's interesting hearing her hybrid British/American accent. Even though she was born in London she was raised in the states and returned to England at age 18 as an American. Funny how she can switch off one accent for another. Oh and the most hilarious part she played with Python was Zoot . "You must give us all a good spanking!"

Kinda sad hearing her talking about Neil and Terry J. knowing that they'd both no longer be with us within the next few months of this being recorded. : (

Carol was the perfect real lady for the Pythons - she was sexy but she got their humour. It must have been fantastic to work with them but I understand her being a bit miffed that she was typecast and lost out on other work. I saw her the other day in Father Dear Father, a comedy from 1969 but she had a fairly straight role - she was very good.

In her day, Carol was almost UNBELIEVABLY sexy - and her true Ladylike quality made her even more so.

She was, you're so right. I watched an old Python episode last night, the one with Mr. Putey and her at a marriage counsellors. God, she was awesome!! Not bad now tbh!!

@@sbgaming5006 "at a marriage counsellors" Indeed, indeed: Carol as the archetypal Sixties Dolly Bird - it doesn't get any better than that. Things seem to have gone rather downhill since (unless, that is, you into giant tattooed amoebae waddling between the supermarket aisles with their revolting offspring).
