@@hilmao7344 When he met the President of Nigeria (who was dressed in traditional costume) he told him "you look as though you're ready for bed." That wasn't racist either. The fact is, the Chinese DO have slitty eyes, the Cantonese DO eat things we wouldn't dream of, mountain tribes in Papua New Guinea (I''ve been there) HAVE practiced cannibalism in recent times, and the Cayman Islands were a hot spot for pirates from the 1650s to 1730s, including Henry Morgan and Blackbeard. As for the Aborigines, they were dancers performing for the Royals and decided to throw in some extra entertainment with spears & boomerangs which prompted the comment from Prince Philip. It was seized on and sensationalised by the media to feed the public appetite for scandal.

He is so entertaining because he does not even think about whether he is politically correct or not. He just comments on it. Many find it crass. I think it's pretty funny most of the time. No matter what you think about it - it is at least authentic. I think it could be one of the reasons why Queen Elizabeth is married to him. He does not talk around the bush. It must be quite refreshing for her.
