Possibly because it is not Britney who is making the decisions to pursue the singing career and tour. Jamie Spears appears to be the person pushing the touring - I don't think he knows what else to do. Hopefully Britney will be allowed to take control of her own life very soon. Britney Rocks!

nes2412 - that's a very interesting thought, she may well have behaved in the way she did/does to end her fame? As to whether this is a conscious decision or not I guess we will never know. I love Britney and I truly wish she can find whatever it is that will make her happy - I have a feeling it is not singing or fame but being a mother to her two young sons.
