I think it's a "foreshadowing" in that her entire career was planned to be what it is today- she was supposed to be a tragic story of a pop princess that goes insane. The whole thing is a publicity stunt to establish her brand, mimicing Marylin Monroe. Does anyone understand why Monroe is/was so famous? It's not like she was that good. Fame is all marketing. Plus this is like the female version of MJ's "Who is It" video, since she's a high priced call girl who marries a rich guy, when she was just using him for his wealthy horn dog connections.
@ThingsILikke4 жыл бұрын
@Anastasia's Diary People forgot about a whole lot of incidents with other celebrities because they didn't get so much attention. Amy Winehouse, Kate Moss, Martin Lawrence, Mariah Carey, probably a whole ton of other celebrities had psycho moments. Britney's real talent is in acting along with this charade. Are her parents actually dishonest? Maybe, maybe not. I doubt Britney's some dumb goat that lets anyone steal her money. Selena Gomez is a drunken asshole with maybe 1/6th the money and power Britney Spears' has and she's ruined many careers. Britney has been on top for nearly 25 years.

Get rid of the swimming pool to cover the 372,000 annual drownings in the world, and we can't have the house either, people die in household accidents. They should just film all videos on a plain boring vacant lot, but we wouldn't want to offend anyone who likes pristine lawns by showing them images of people walking on the grass. Hard to believe it has been twenty years since Britney Spears issued this Bobby Brown remake classic. Those two singers certainly had a lot of common, both on and off the stage. Their music continues to vitalize people. The Indian instrumentation at the start of this song was phenomenal.

This video is such an underrated masterpiece. At the time it barely made any waves because she was a bit occupied with getting married, but it's one of her best videos in terms of production quality. The Marilyn Monroe nods and the "They say I'm crazy" followed by crashing the car into a pool was just genius.

This song is so foreshadowing. I can see why Britney chose to cover Bobby Brown’s song. In his original song he even goes “I made this money, you didn’t.” I bet that’s how she feels about her family vs Her. She clearly loved this song and it definitely means a lot. #freebritney

This video was the last we’ve seen with true Britney. When she was really not a girl and not yet a woman. The video is so dark and mysterious, obviously one of the best of her videos for the whole career. Will be missing her as this person and obviously time is gone. But certainly this her appearance, this face, this vibe I’ll keep about her whole my entire life. Thanks to Britney and whole her team, as video director and stylists, musicians and all others for this lucky and unbelievable time. P.s. obviously it’s the most stylish video for the whole her career. And the most beautiful.
@sarahb73664 жыл бұрын
I disagree, this is the last time we saw the highly commercialized young Britney. It’s different than the real Britney. The last time we got to see Britney free from her conservatorship was in the Piece Of Me music video. The last time we saw her be happy and proud of her work was with her latest album in 2016, Glory.

@@symphonyely1801 Yeah. But still, she chose to cover it. Out of all the songs she could've picked, she picked this one with a very specific message. She wanted to sing a song that was reflecting HER situation at the time. When you cover a song, you somehow make it yours. So yeah, to some degree, this is HER song.
