100% this and I’m proud to say I was one of thru outliers back in 2002-7 saying the exact same thing, not even having been a fan at that time but seeing the absurdity of the double standards and the inhuman expectations she was held to and the cruelty with which she was treated when people felt she didn’t meet those expectations- and how the public and media scrutinized her and victim blamed her when she reacted like a normal human being would react when she was treated badly by the men who she loved and criticized mercilessly by a feckless public and media all just hungry for a spectacle and along for the entertainment and the ride and utterly disregarding the fact that she was a human being. I wasn’t quite as elaborate with it as Chris Crocker was (the “Leave Britney Alone” guy who i believe is now a very lovely woman. But I don’t know her new name, so I’ll refer to her by the name most people recognize but mention this here in affirmation❤🏳️‍⚧️⚧ 🏳️‍🌈 and respect of her new identity🏳️‍⚧️⚧), but I agreed 100% with what Crocker was saying back then and even with the passion with which it was said . Even South Park came to the table with their take saying that the publics and medias cruelty was going to drive her to self destruct. People didn’t get it then and they even disgustingly sided with Timberlake and Federline who were obviously dirtbags in how they behaved (Justin was then, but perhaps has evolved and matured as a person hopefully, idk, but Kevin is, was and always has been a dirtbag who took advantage of and used Britney and treated her like absolute shit. Poor Britney was PREGNANT with his child and Kevin should have been at home with her, tending to her, giving her massages and taking care of her pregnancy cravings and being an uplifting, supportive, solid, stable, upstanding, reliable partner grateful for the sacrifice she was making with her body and empathetic to the stresses etc she was enduring as a pregnant and expecting new mother, reassuring her that she was beautiful and he loved and appreciated her and was committed AND INSTEAD HE WAS OUT PARTYING AND FLIRTING WITH OTHER WOMEN ALMOST EVERY NIGHT AND DOING GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE BEHIND HER BACK) - and soooo many women and others still had the actual god damned nerve to side with Kevin(!). I’m sorry but that level of conduct is emotional abuse. It’s downright domestic violence. It’s just sick. And he did it to another woman as well. He’s a piece of shit.
