Honey badgers are a smaller version of the wolverine. There's NG footage from Yellowstone park where a grizzly bear had taken down an elk. Well, a wolverine came out of the tree line.....and the bear left. Straight up ran away and left its kill. Nobody wants to mess with these animals, they're insane.

Often when different species of the animal kingdom fight it seems that the animal who displays the most raw aggression forces their opponent to back down. Even if the opponent is much larger and quite capable of thrashing its more aggressive adversary. That strategy works for presidential candidates too😉
@dunringill17478 күн бұрын
Honey Badgers are too slow to avoid predators so they fight like cornered animals. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. It depends if there is easier lunch nearby. Honey badgers are prey to Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Wild Hunting Dogs, Crocodiles, Large Constrictor Snakes, and - rarely - Jackal packs. Honey Badgers are the smaller cousin of Wolverines. The wolverine is like a honey badger on steroids. Honey badgers take down prey as large as domestic sheep and goats. Wolverines take down prey as large as bison, elk, & moose. Usually they target young or sickly individuals. However - The record largest wolverine kill (that we know of) was a healthy 1,800 lbs. (816 Kg) adult male moose.

Wolverines are the larger cousin of the honey badger. Wolverines are better predators (with the exception of honey badger venom resistance). Wolverines can weigh between 22 to 66 pounds. Honey badgers can weigh between 13 to 30 pounds. Wolverines take down prey as large as bison, elk, & moose. Usually they go after the young or the sick. However - The record (that we know of) was a healthy 1,800 lbs. (816 Kg) adult male moose. Honey badgers take down prey as large as domestic sheep and goats.
