@dunringill17472 ай бұрын
Wolverines are the larger cousin of the honey badger. Wolverines are better predators (with the exception of honey badger venom resistance). Wolverines can weigh between 22 to 66 pounds. Honey badgers can weigh between 13 to 30 pounds. Wolverines take down prey as large as bison, elk, & moose. Usually they go after the young or the sick. However - The record (that we know of) was a healthy 1,800 lbs. (816 Kg) adult male moose. Honey badgers take down prey as large as domestic sheep and goats.

Always considered that branch of the weasel family (mongoose, badger, wolverine) to have incredibly active digestive systems resistant to bacteria. Eating decaying, decayed and often diseased remains would be traumatic or fatal for most creatures. Their problems solving abilities are also impressive. There's a vlogger in Africa who endlessly has to keep tabs on his, as it escapes and raids local livestock.

Often when different species of the animal kingdom fight it seems that the animal who displays the most raw aggression forces their opponent to back down. Even if the opponent is much larger and quite capable of thrashing its more aggressive adversary. That strategy works for presidential candidates too😉

There was one at a zoo in North America that repeatedly escaped from his enclosure and would immediately go after the lions and terrorize them. They got him a female to mate with and he escaped with her all the time too. He would escape and go visit his zoo-keeper that had raised him. He would use anything to get some leverage to climb out of his enclosure as the video showed.

Fellas, go look up the story of Stoffel the honey badger. When they say honey badgers are scared of nothing, they mean it. Stoffle was raised around humans and lived on a farm. Stoffle escaped his enclosure and went after some lions. The lions fought back and Stoffle did not run. The lions almost killed him and the family that was caring for Stoffle found him and nursed him back to health. After being put into his enclosure, after weeks of being in the medic; what did Stoffle do? He escaped again and went after the exact same lions again to get his vengeance!! Yup. Stoffle is 29 years old and still alive in case you might want to go and visit him. Seriously, his story is much more than what i told you here.

Honey Badgers are too slow to avoid predators so they fight like cornered animals. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. It depends if there is easier lunch nearby. Honey badgers are prey to Lions, Leopards, Hyenas, Wild Hunting Dogs, Crocodiles, Large Constrictor Snakes, and - rarely - Jackal packs. Honey Badgers are the smaller cousin of Wolverines. The wolverine is like a honey badger on steroids. Honey badgers take down prey as large as domestic sheep and goats. Wolverines take down prey as large as bison, elk, & moose. Also a Wolverine and a honey badger isn't a fair fight, the Wolverine is more likely to win because they have more powerful jaws, sharper longer teeth with the same attitude or worse. A Wolverine has found to kill a polar bear because of its bite strength, by suffocating it by latching onto its throat and killing it, even a polar bear couldn't get it off of its throat. They are just more vicious and twice as strong and big as a honey badger, they also have an extremely thick hide that's almost impenetrable just like the HB so I can't say 100% it would win but it doesn't look good for the honey badger.
