They've all got recipe suggestions on the side of the box. I like combining flavors too. Chicken mixed with rice pilaf. Tuna Helper made with ground turkey or chicken. Beef mixed with Fried Rice...and maybe some ground hamburger meat. Go crazy. Get inventive. One other thing about Rice a Roni...there are two types. You cook them completely differently. Most of the flavors, you sautee the rice/vermicelli, then add the liquids & the sauce packet. Some however, there's no sauteeing needed. You just boil the rice, add the sauce to the water and slap a lid on it. READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST! Looking forward to more in the future!

Hamburger: Cheesy Ranch Burger, Crunchy Taco, Bacon Cheeseburger, Cheesy Italian Shells, Cheesy Enchilada, Deluxe Philly Cheesesteak, Ranch & Bacon, 4 Cheese Lasagna, Cheesy Hashbrown, and of course Potato Stroganoff Chicken: Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Tuna: Tuna Tetrazzini Wouldn't be surprised if you can't find some. Used to stretch our meals and ground meat by adding vegetables and only about 1/2 of whatever protein I was putting in. You could get them super cheap at the local budget supermarket, and around every other week they were two-for-one, so I'd stock up. Overall it's cheaper to buy the components yourself and make it from scratch, but when you're a busy household sometimes you don't have the time. PS: Peas go well in the tuna one.

I remember when Hamburger Helper came out. There was a beef shortage, and ground beef was really expensive. This product was a real hit. 1 lb. Of beef could be stretched to feed a hungry family.

When was there ever a BEEF SHORTAGE!? You’re full of shit, because you STILL needed beef to make this garbage.

That's really interesting - thanks for the info

You need to try the Philly Cheese option. (I add fresh mushrooms, onion, and green peppers to mine. Yum!)

Thanks for the suggestion, we'll definitely add that to our list!

I add bacon and pickle slices to the cheese burger hamburger helper. Gives it a more authentic cheese burger taste

Another fun video, you brought back memories! It took some effort but I found your second channel - maybe you could make the link more prominent? Cheers!

I haven't had hamburger helper in a while but my favorite was zesty Italian I'm not sure if they even make it now.

I’m not sure which one I would choose 🤔. They all looked delicious 😋.

I always add to my hamburger helper. More seasonings and maybe veg and or cheese. The tuna I would add a drained can of sweet peas and mushrooms. Lasagna I would add mushrooms and pepperoni with mozzarella on top. Most would get peas mushrooms or corn.
