I have never heard someone who's an addict/ex-addict talk about his problems and himself in such an incredibly intelligent and truthful way. This guy is way ahead of so many so called sober addicts that are screaming to get attention these days and want to help others. It's a shame how our school system treats people that are highly sensitive/intelligent but dont want to or can't learn in the 'conventional' way.

This story is proof of how strong drug addiction is and the lengths those will go through to get there fix. I have personally done some insane things but never 4 hrs threw shark infested water to arrive in a ghetto where life is worth 2$ and stay with a drug lord to,get my fix😳 but close.

Hope he's still sober. People that don't understand addiction should listen to his story about swimming from the Antigua Rehab. That pretty much sums up the drive the addict battles against seeking their drug of choice during detox and sometimes long after. The addict is not in their right mind, it's not the real person. It's a mentally and physically sick person that needs professional medical and psychiatric attention.

OMG I am glad I for some reason started reading comments as this interview begins. I had 2 Doxies that died and I'm Sorry but I LOVED them sooooooooo much it has made me sick LITERALLY. I don't know if I can watch this now. My doxies were my babies since I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. I had 2 red long haired mini girls who died of Grand Mal Seizures. I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER GET THOSE SOUNDS ERASED FROM MY MEMORY. Those poor babies were on Valium and Phenobarbital spaced out all the time and post ictal state lasted a day or so.....Hmmmm I decided NOT to continue this interview. GOD protecting my mental health....Sooooooooo glad I saw this. Just need to recover and find a new baby. I am soooo Sorry for you-God Bless

Omg i was just thinking of him the other day! When I first got into recovery I met him at a meeting and he was so nice. This was during the time where he was just on dr Drew’s rehab show on vh1. Right when we were talking some big dude told him to shut up and took him away lol. I wonder if he remembers that. This was somewhere in Santa Monica area?
