I have been struggling with concealer, SO BAD! I feel like I've tried everything. I use all the right products, like primer and moisturizer. I always wash my face right before I put it on. I feel like no matter what I do I get cakey, patchy under eyes. Any advice?

I have comparatively darker under eye than my rest of the face.. I use maybelline fit me concealer which other KZbinrs rave about.. the problem is neither it conceal my under eye darkness properly, not it conceal my broken capillaries on my nose. Do you suggest me to use colour corrected first on my nose and under eye?

Medha Rai fit me concealer is good stuff but for those who do not have really dark under eyes circles.. depending on the color of your circles brownish green under tones/ or like mine I have blue purple circles.. when really wanting good coverage you need to use a corrector (lightly) to counter act the circle colors and a concealer on top to match your face color if not lighter if you like that brighter look. 😘

I have a lot of age spots or sun damage on my face should I cover them with concealer on my forehead and cheekbone areas as well as under the eyes. Also do I then do foundation or foundation first?

Hiii Nora, Depending on how dark the spots are you may need to Correct and then Conceal .. I used to have a melasma would have to use salmon color corrector then add the concealer on top then do your foundation routine as usual. :) Always do foundation after.

Hi Nora, yes just make sure tho that the concealer is close to your skin color and not significantly lighter then the foundation otherwise you will see it pop through. Tarte shape tape is an amazing concealer for covering dark spots but not being to caky . You then go about your foundation as usual.

yes of course!!! LUCKY!!!! if you dont have dark circles DO NOT USE concealer under your eyes. rememeber the more makeup you put on the more the wrinkles lines pop. Makeup does not sadly make those disappear they only can enhance :( so lesss is more

I’ve been trying to learn on how to put make up on so I’ve been using milani 2 in one concealer and foundation but I only put it under my eyes bc I don’t like all that make up on my face but my cheeks get red and I feel like you can see where my concealer begins and ends it looks like around my eyes are white. i personally do not like brands that are two in one. concealer is a different consistancy then foundation and is to be placed different then foundation.

hi Joesphina, You always want to go below the crescent of the dark circle (gives the illusion of it being drawn DOWN . If you just fill in the cresent part it will look more defined. Hope that makes sense

I’m still confused where the foundation should start and where it ends? Or does it go over the top of your concealer? I always used to put it on top of my foundation because it was too dry without anything underneath. But then of course it would slide around and my eye makeup would run! I’m 52 and still can’t get this right! 🤦🏻‍♀️

It’s best to do corrector (if need) and then concealer ONLY wear you see dark. And then below that you do your foundation blend up to the end of the Concealer “line” do not place under eye. Less is Best! Hope that makes sense for you. ❤️❤️

Margarita Jimenez hi love! Problem with that is if they are really dark then you will need a corrector and then use a concealer on top. The corrector is what counter acts the purples and blues in the circles / broken capillaries on skin concealer is what matches or brightens up the under eye. Peach colored corrector amazing!! Incredible one is Bobbi brown corrector concealer..

u can yes but very very little ideally translucent to "set it" but not much otherwise makes it look cakey under eye

Mary Gould my circles are very dark and purple with a dip in the skin.. if you use these techniques on yourself it’s most important to use the salmon color to correct the dark.
