I completely understand I've been around for over half a century & seen & experienced some very harsh & brutal things but the last five years then particularly 2020 was the worst EVER LITERALLY EVER‼️So I'm also glad we are finding joy in life together as I see a new video by her & things are improving in general as well. I check in on my mom consistently and randomly to be sure she's being cared for properly. I had to put her in memory care after six years of caring for her on my own, while trying to maintain a job, marriage and kids. It got too hard. But those folks seem to really love my little momma (she's 4'6"!). I know it doesn't always work out that way. As an only child, I can only do so much. But I do make sure she's being treated well.

I’m genuinely not surprised hearing stories like this. Maybe when I was younger but not after working in a LTC facility. Worked there for two and a half years and it’s amazing (in a bad way, obviously) how heartless people can be. And when you try to do something about it and go about things in the right way, they threaten to fire you. Even when you’re pregnant and the only one making money in the household at the time. Not only do people who they’re ‘caring’ for suffer, but so do the people who try to stand up for them. Even though we’re told we’re supposed to be their voice. 🙄🙄 anyway, another amazing video! I enjoy chillin’ out and watching your content. 🥰

These past two episodes made me think of a surgeon I once worked with. He was working at two local hospitals, killing people left and right. He got fired, but this made me wonder what became of him. Kinda wish I hadn't googled him. He is in full practice in another state.

I used to like many of them, but you spoiled me, at least for the moment in this stressful time of … well, Covid. You have the wisdom, the empathy, and healthy kind of down to earth humor that make these stories bearable. Wouldn't you like to make videos where you just tell stories about your day and your dogs every once in awhile? You are like an anchor for me out there, mild and beautiful, and smart, and your storytelling is the best. Perfectly sweet voice, so smooth in pronunciation, and still sharp to the point. I was so happy after a long day at the hospital to see this video. Most doctors are caring but I have had experience with three doctors that had a god complex over my 25 year career as a nurse. One was scary. Love you!! ❤️

I remember this story so well, i live in the next town over from where his old GP surgery was in Todmordon. The surgery has now been knocked down and a supermarket built in its place. Although i was 11 when he was sentenced, I remember this been all over the news daily through the trial and although he was charged with 15 deaths its suspected his victim count was 250.

I worked with healthcare providers in my young adult life. That was my awakening to the fact that doctors are just people. I was raised to always give them unquestionable respect. I'm here to tell you that they can be as despicable as the next person. That was such a revelation for me. The fact that I had stronger morals and ethics than this well known local doctor that was always at all of the hob-knobbing events, etc. Always showing the citizens this pillar of the community facade. When in reality he would give preferential treatments and price breaks, etc to the wealthy patients. All the while he would give none of those discounts and flexible billing options to our low income patients that were barely scraping by and just wanting to not be choosing between eye glasses for themselves or their children or a healthy meal or decent shoes. Essentially, if you couldn't scratch his back, he wasn't going to offer you as much as the free annual advertising calendar.

My husband has bamboo spine (Anklosing Spondylitis), rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and degenerative disk disease. He's had so many surgeries. He is never left alone in the hospital. Me or our son is always present. I want eyes on my man! Good doctors are worth their weight in gold and sorry ones are not worth my spit if on fire.

These doctor ones, UGH, so close to home. Some doctors really are just terrible, and it's so sad because we're going in there vulnerable just wanting to be our best selves again!! Gonna make a long story short but a few months ago I went in for an emergency surgery and had to stay for about a month in the hospital since I had some complications during my surgery. My god let me just say I will never go back to that hospital again. Not only did I get real shoddy work done on my body, but the doctor herself one day just came into my room where I was lying in pain, grabbed me by the legs, and pulled me off that damn cot screaming at me! When I started crying after being yanked around like a ragdoll-- because, I like to fancy myself a strong guy, but I was in a lot of pain at this time!-- she told me to get my anxieties under control! I was stunned! All that to say, I agree with you so much Miss Mama- I don't care if I've got a damn leg chopped off or something I'm always doing my research first from now on!
