Nova is the BEST! She's Tom's girlfriend, shoots all of his videos, and is a crazy-good rapper and singer. I've never seen confirmation in a comment, but she's probably the designer of this set and the outfits. Her voice doesn't sound like this (all autotune); it's actually much better. Madchild's voice actually does sound like this, though. He's an old-school rapper whose vocal cords were damaged by too many drugs and alcohol. Tom and Madchild did an album together, and Madchild has featured on a couple of other songs. Nova, of course, has done several songs with Tom, and she has released a bunch of her own music.

@@brittreacts Yea, her voice is a lot higher pitched than that and a lighter timbre. Never met her but she seems like a goofy sweetheart though based on her video editing style, her interviews, and the fact that she chose Tom.

The three of them do have another song/video together: Sober. As the name indicates, it's a much more serious topic/vibe. You do hear their voices without autotune, though. A good song with Tom and Nova together is No Good Bastards. You'll really get to hear Nova rap in that song. A good song with Tom and Madchild is Fire Emojis, which also includes Adam Calhoun.

Tom's first verse "I just need a cake right now" Getting a cake is a recovery term, you get a cake on each anniversary of being clean & sober. Something newly sober people really hang on for. Stylist...LOL Tom & Nova are the whole team. Those weren't "Lable" costumes that is just who they are.

Awesome reaction again and I loved the surprises, surprising you in a positive way. Most people don't like madchilds voice. It's not his natural voice, but he can't help it because he blew out a vocal cord (he's a battle rapper) and it caused his voice to change to a higher squeaky-ish sound. Nova, miss Nova though was just flexing on how low she can go in this because that's definitely not her natural voice. Do hers and Tom's song "gang gang" or her song "hey you" which is her f-you to Def Jam (she got willingly dropped because they treated her like crap!) And you'll be blown away all over again! Also, Nova is Tom's girlfriend and they are absolutely adorable frfr! This song was a "see we can make mainstream music and still with a message" to all the haters saying they can't. Oh and Nova shoots, edits, and directs mostly all of hers and Tom's videos. I think they had an outside filming crew for this one, but I'm pretty sure she set up the locations and style 💯! I think a lot of people don't listen to what Madchild says at first because his voice is a bit of a shock to new listeners. Once they get use to it, they usually do start listening to what he is saying in the songs.

You are so warm and genuine, it really comes across the screen! ❤ This song was meant to showcase what Tom, Madchild, and Nova could do with a radio ready song, with auto-tune, not enunciating the words clearly, etc., that they could do it better than what's currently on the charts and still give a deep message in the lyrics. I think they succeeded. 😍🤩🔥Tom has said before that he is his own stylist, and Nova has talked about how they all 3 went shopping together for this video then went to get new face tattoos. This one really showcases Nova, her skills are off the charts. I heard her say on a live that it is her voice, but auto-tuned. It's funny that it is lower than Madchild's voice. 🤣😂 She normally doesn't sing that low. Nova and Tom have been best friends for 15 years and a couple for 6 years. Madchild was having a bit of trouble at one point and Nova and Tom took him in for a while. All 3 are from Canada originally. Tom is known for his political raps, that is what generates the controversial buzz, but that's not near his only lane. He is big on addiction, mental health, the music industry, and he has some 🔥 flexing songs. #HangOverGang

All 3 of them are Expat Canadians living in the US, I think Tom & Nova are on their way to being US citizens, Mad Child was pretty famous when he was younger as the founder of the hip hop group The Swollen Member, late 90s early 2000s, they were huge In Canada and as Canadian hip hop they were 2nd only to Drake

Tom is known for his political/social commentary tracks, but that is only part of his music, his change of direction from what most other Rappers Rap about, drugs, money and sex happened after a breakdown caused partially by partying and borderline alcoholism, so he has Mental Health/Addiction awareness tracks - Sober - Best Rapper Ever. Nova was signed to a Record Label but they tied her up in knots and dropped her, so Tom and Nova are anti Music Industry and he does tracks against them - The Music Industry- Exposure. #HOG UK

The auto-tune discussion right after Novas bars… Her verse is key. It’s kinda king-fu. She owns up to the risks she’s taking and making a leap of faith, and kinda taking lemons and making lemonade. The song is about bad news, but they auto-tune it, kinda vibrating that reality and through some kind of alchemy making something beautiful. The song is in high rotation for me. The whole album with Madchild is still one of my favorites..its called Killing the Neighbors if i remember right. Sober and also features all 3 of them. White Trash is just Tom and MAdchild.. but other songs i would love to see you do besides those would be Ashes (hard rock and rap mixed flawlessly), Castles cause i think it would be up your alley personality wise and No Good Bastadrs I think you would really like.
