For example- the fur Reba has with the white suit is the exact same one she wore in the 1993 video. Dolly wears the same color dress as Linda, etc. Just a few little homages to the original video. They've been friends for decades and said they didn't know why they waited so long to record together, they've been there for each other in their careers and Dolly is Reba's career idol, and Dolly loves Reba as much as Reba loves Dolly, appearing on Reba's sitcom, and when in the 1990's most of Reba's band tragically died in a plane crash, and Dolly said Reba, here please use my band so you can complete your tour shows.

I feel like this version is that the women are equals and both brokenhearted. In the original, it was the slightly younger woman coming in to take him and there's this desperation. Both are so good! Sweetheart, you need to check out Linda Ronstadt. Most reactors usually start with 'Blue Bayou' but I'd suggest 'Willing'. Linda has some 9 Grammys across 4 or 5 genre's. Country, Rock, Mariachi and Operetta. Before you ask, yes she has done 2 albums with Dolly. They included Emmy Lou Harris to form 'The Trio'.

You should also react to The Honky Tonk Angels, "Silver Threads and Golden Needles"... The trio consists of Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette, and Loretta Lynn. Also, Don't forget that Dolly is an actress too... She was in "9 to 5" with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in the early '80s. That is the only main stream movie I can think of for either her or Reba, but both did several smaller screen acting too. There is also a duet of Reba and Kelly Clarkson, with Reba leading on Kelly's hit song, "Because of You"... The video of the original Kelly version, and the video of the duet each tells a different story, told from different perspectives of the same song.
