I lost 30 pounds and it's totally transformed my life! Just because you don't have tons of weight to lose doesn't mean it's not transformational. My pre-diabetes is gone, cholesterol normal, blood pressure down. Small losses can make a big difference :) Ohhh and I'm 62 years young.

I lost 118 lbs in 10 months (300lbs to 182lbs, and I'm 6'1). For the first time in my life I'm not the fat guy. It is absolutely true that if you lose so much weight, it's life changing. I'm so much more confident and happy with myself. Even though I feel like a fatboy, I know I'm not. The human body is amazing and perseverance and consistency in both diet and exercise is key to both the physical and mental aspect of the whole transformation. Just don't give up! Have a dream and set small goals to achieve that dream and you'll make it :)

@my Email @Stephen Williamson Well every body works differently so what worked for me may not work for you, but for food I stopped drinking calories. I replaced all my drinks with water, tea without sugar and milk and coffee without sugar and milk. I tried to stay at 1800-2000 calories a day and started counting my intake (buying a foodscale is a gamechanger). I also tried to replace most kinds of food with the more healthier options like whole grain food and more vegtables and less meat and make sure the meat i take are clean cuts (no fat, skinless and boneless). The trick is to always have a calloric defecit (use more calories than that you take) As for exercise, I went to the gym 2 times a week and once I got comfortable with the gym, i went 4 to 5 times a week focussing most on compound weight training (Brix has an amazing video about this where he shows you the best compound exercises). I started hiking everyday and try to reach atleast 10.000 steps and I did a hiit training 2x a week. (Brix also has a nice video on where he explains what hiit is and how to do it) I did all of this consistent and never backed down for the full 10 months. There is no real secret but understand that its a lifestyle change. You mainly need the right mindset. Most things I did came from Brix's channel so I would really reccomend checking his vids out.

So here’s what’s crazy about this video! I went to High School with Jeremiah and he spoke some mad facts. I don’t think anyone seen him as fat Jeremiah. He was still active and still was an awesome dude. But it just goes to show you how we view ourselves, how our loved ones view is, and how our friends view us. Spoke on a lot of truths, I feel like a lot of people can relate to stupid moments we fell in a weight loss craze but some only know the desperation of your best self. Not using a sleep apnea machine at the age of 27 or having seat limitations/accommodations. It’s just a lot, when what you want is not within arms reach or even a known option. I followed your channel before brix but my friend Jeremiah just gave me that missing piece we all need. Some times we just need to see and know with our own eyes and hear with our own ears. I really needed this video today! ❤️💯☺️

And staying in the fight is even harder when you accomplish your goal. My new goal for 2019 is 180lbs! I'm hoping to be there by May of 2019. Hope is the key word with hardcore grinding! I'm getting frustrated as the scale hasn't dropped in a month, but I'm trying to stay strong.

My goal is to get to 180, then put on 15 to 20 lbs of lean muscle. I haven’t been under 200 lbs in 15 years. Forgot how I look underneath all of this fat. I’m not giving up. I definitely struggle with binging but trying to fight it everyday. At 39, almost 40 it’s harder then when your in your 20’s. Metabolism slowed down a lot and my dedication fades all the time. It GOD is in my corner and I won’t give up. Me and my girlfriend are doing it together.

That struck a chord with me. It might seem simple, but after 18+ years of trying to lose weight, it actually only took him 6-8 months. Chris Pratt has even said, "Six months looks like a long time when you are looking ahead, but what were you doing 6 months ago?" I'm paraphrasing here, but I understand it now. The hardest part for me is getting started. Here I am telling everyone that 6 months from now, I'm going to be in a better state of mind and living in a healthier body. Keep me accountable! July 21st, what am I going to look like?

This guy had the somewhat of the same motivation that I had for starting my weightloss journey but that motivation changed over time. I didn't even take my ex-wife back when she wanted me because I transformed not only my body but my mind. My mentality was far ahead of her pettiness and drama, I'm still on a path of bigger and better things. No matter what the motivation is, it's important to go ahead and get to it, those motivations will probably change as the journey continues depending on how big you were to begin with (I was 380+)

All I could do was stay in bed and take medicine and eat. I got all the way up to 260 and now I’m praying and fighting to get the weight off and keep it off. Any wisdom and advice is appreciated. This was so inspiring for me. I grew up like you, not realizing I was obese but still was embarrassed to have my shirt off. My highest weight and lowest self esteem came after highschool around 2012-2015. I was 270ibs at 5'7. My girl cheated on me, I failed to reconnect with my dead beat father, my mother had multiple strokes, my friends seemed shady, and my best friend was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I was so distraught , depressed and honestly suicidal. I abused drugs and food regularly. I eventually started to workout everyday and became a vegetarian. I managed to last for 2 1/2 years. I eventually got down to 180IBs. It was going great but it's just like you both said. My mental development lagged far behind my body. The doubt and my environment ended up catching up to me. This year I lost my first home after moving out with friends and actually had to reavaluate who and what I considered a friend. Even who and what I considered to be Me. My current weight is 260ibs. I spent the last few months struggling but working on myself. It didn't work till I isolated myself and really kept it 💯 I can proudly say that I'm back on my shit!!! I'm back in the gym. I'm fixing my credit and wallet. I'm connecting with my family and with my self. As well as my mother being healthy and us taking this journey together. Just like you, my original fuel and motivation came from a hurt and angry place. I wanted to glow up and spite everyone that looked down on me, played me, flipped my titties lol, and humiliated me. That energy only caused more pain after losing it. I can proudly say I LOVE MYSELF and I am more motivated than I have ever been. I'm going to turn this passion into progress. I wrote this for anyone who's struggling to get back on track or even just to get started. Just know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. You can do anything. This video came suggested to me at a perfect time and I hope my messege hits someone at a crucial time as well. Peace and love fam. 💪🏾UP UP

Been following for almost 3 years and I absolutely loved this video. I love hearing the struggles because my husband is struggling with the same thing. Except he is 31 and wheelchair bound. He is lacking the faith part of knowing he will get there and I struggle trying to encourage him. This video was a blessing. Thank you Brix. This is content I love seeing if y’all can do it we can!

I got questions. I have started my weight loss journey and I’m aware that it’ll take time before I start seeing results, but it gets so frustrating looking down at your stomach thinking, why are you still here? Every once in a while I hit an uncomfort zone. Like yesterday, I did some ab workouts and I got cramps. I’m eating right, drinking lots of water, why is this happening to me. I guess my question is, when you hit negative bumps in the road, what do you do to overcome that? Being overweight, how did you deal with pain, or hunger/sugar urges? Thanks for being such a huge inspiration. I’m seriously ready to put in the work.

This video really blessed me. I was 325lbs several years ago..sleep apnea, cholesterol issues, ED issues...ugh. I'm down to 255lbs but have a ways to go. Never thought of weight loss as personal development...faith, perspective and grind. Love that. Thank you both!

Yes, I love this! You have a phenomenal skill of interviewing people Brix! Bing Eating is not discussed enough in society! Binge Eating is a massive problem! Food is a drug for a lot of people, we need to educate people on the perils of abusing food! Binge Eating is nothing to be ashamed of, I suffered from this myself! It is a problem because we are not acknowledging/discussing it!

Thats wassup bro keep at it im about to start a lil routine tomorrow and see where it takes me.If you have any tips feel free to share them cause the way I lost it the first time wasn't it an hour on the treadmill {5 miles jogging} followed by full body work outs 5 times a week. 3+ hours nightly. I was pushing through and was getting stronger but my body wasn't recovering. I kept getting lil nagging injuries. When I look back at it I went from 295 and lazy to 240 and tired all the time and limping.

I've lost 55 pounds over the last year or so (with about the same still left to go), but the last two months the scale has been climbing again and I felt so defeated for a bit. But I know that if I persevere and put in the work consistently I'll get to where I want to be!

Seeing these videos makes me realize how... "Easy" it really is. I'm now 24 and determined to do this shit bro. I promised myself I'd be under 200 lbs. at 20. I stayed above it and time started passing. F that. I can't keep making that mistake. It's now been over a month and I've lost almost exactly 20 pounds from 267 to 247. During the last week I have had to scale back cardio and my weight lifting because I got my first real injury. Runner's knee as far as I can tell. I was walking every day for like 1 and half hours, MINIMUM up to 3 hours at a time and shit was relatively good for many weeks but then I decided to run cause I felt stronger and got confident and I ran way too hard and pushed myself. I don't know how I didn't drop when doing that but during those last 3 days running like that, it explains why I'm still in so much pain in the same areas on both legs a week later. (Behind and below and to the sides of my knees) This thing takes 3 to 6 weeks to heal on average. It's a hard lesson I had to learn. Brix was right. When you try to rush the process, you only set yourself back in the long run. I'm proud of myself for showing myself I got what it takes to be a beast but my own body said "Nope, that was too hard for where you are at your fitness level right now." I hope one day I can show it that I can run even better than I did but with better form and more control so that I don't get injured like that again. It's not stopping me even though I wake up some days and feel like simply walking is torture. At least I still got legs, so I hop on my recumbent bike for 30 minutes and burn around 100 calories cause I also learned that Cardio, if overdone can slow down your metabolism cause your body will want to adapt to the new regular activity. I can't wait to be able to walk without pain again. I can feel my muscles slowly getting stronger again and back to normal but for now, I'm really unstable, especially in the morning. Ice definitely makes it better so I know it's an inflammation/swelling problem. No creaking/grinding in my knee so it can't be that I actually chipped away any bone as far as I can tell.

OMG! i am not even long into the video but i already feel so inspired. i am 260lbs at 5.10ft tall and im just tired of trying. I HAVE TRIED EVERY POSSIBLE THING TO GET THE BODY I WANT WHICH IS THE BODY YOU GUYS ARE BOTH CURRENTLY SPORTING BUT TO NO AVAIL. IVE BEEN DEPRESSED SINCE 15 AND IM 18 NOW. i already killed myself tho (EMOTIONALLY), i no longer feel real emotions, another person living or dying means nothing to me and i just developed all these sociopath tendencies that i dont think may ever go away. i dont have a girlfriend since i dont even bother trying to get one and even tho a girl likes me ill just turn her down because of body insecurities. a few people would say im not that fat but they dont see everything. im a very active person. throughout my 2 years of college the gym was my best friend for at least 1hr and a half everyday or every two days up until graduation and i saw NO RESULTS. ITS LIKE MY BODY LOVES HOLDING ON TO THIS STUBBORN FAT!!. it doesn't matter what i do with my diet i wont lose or gain weight. i do think my diet needs to improve because i did some research and i found out that eating 1or 2 times a day ist very healthy for weight loss. my diet is mostly rice sometimes soup and sometimes other tropical foods. im fresh out of college so i haven't got a job yet so i cant afford to buy my own foods as yet to make an actual healthy diet plan or sign up for a program like yours AND EVEN IF I COULD I LIVE ALL THE WAY IN ST.VINCENT, A SMALL COUNTRY WHERE SERVICES OFFERD BY PEOPLE LIKE YOU OR ANY KZbinR MAY NEVER REACH. ITS INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING BUT I AINT GIVING UP JUST YET! AS SOON AS I GET A JOB IMA ENROLL IN A GYM again AND TRY TO FOLLOW A DIET PLAN ALONG WITH GETTING SUPPLEMENTS AND PROTEIN TO SEE IF I GET RESULTS IF I GET NO RESULTS THEN I MIGHT JUST KILL MYSEL OR I MIGHT JUST GIVE UP FOR GOOD. if i do ill be sure to send you the before and after transformation. i really wished i couldve met you and sign up for your service to see if you can help but that may never happen. KEEP INSPIRING PEOPLE LIKE ME. I LOVE WHAT YALL DO SO DONT STOP.
