Got weighted on an Air Force base for a job. I was 330lbs with 144/88 for my blood pressure, this was July 31, 2020. I said "I'll start eating right and working out August 1, and be 215lbs by summer 2021". Just got on the scale today and im 288 lbs. My blood pressure is 121/80. 42lbs in 3 months is pretty good. Congrats to this guy and I hope to lose the next 73 lbs in the next 6-8 months.

I've lost 100lbs since may of this year. It's 95 percent due to intermittent fasting. I worked out very little. But recently raised my work out frequency. When I want to lose weight I do a 20/4. I do 16/8 to maintain. It works.

I try to do IF its kinda of hard to start.... I have like 40-50lbs to lose. I heard IF is the key if you can incorporate this method this can help you. Did you start with 16:8 or 20:4 or another method

@@NONAME-ut6vb I started with 20/4 for a week. So I switched to 16/8 it was easier. It's all in your mind. I had to check myself many times. There's a difference in your body needing food and you just wanting to eat. Break your habits

@@lamontg58 Thanks for sharing, man I’m not in the right mindset to do IF now. I did IF 16/8 4yrs ago and I lost like 12lbs in 8weeks and mostly in the belly but my mind was in it... meh, i get what they are saying but if he were to cut down the carbs and alcohol he would see vastly greater weight loss. I dont even avoid carbs on purpose, it just seemed to happen...ill eat a miniscule amount to what I used to eat which allows me (along with doing 10 k runs every other day) to have a drink when I want etc. But you have to be happy with how you are living otherwise what is the point? So I would never tell him to change what is working for him.

@Brix Fitness Great, great, great content and series. If I may offer a production note? If you are going to add music to your content especially the interview portion, it should be so much lower in volume almost to the point that it's non existent. That way your viewers are more in tuned with the conversation. I literally had to keep rewinding because I was distracted by the music. Once I could focus though I was truly inspired by your guest's message. Continued Peace and prosperity to you Brix!

I agree with a lot. But keto has saved my life because I’m type 2 diabetic. Carbs would of kept me pumping insulin in my body for the rest of my lifetime. In a year I’m off almost all meds except bp meds. Thanks to keto. If you have insulin resistance do your research because traditional doctors want to keep you on meds. God bless
