•Yesterday I had the chance to do some hiking up and down some if the washes along the west bank of the Rio Grande at the bottom of the Robledo Mountains.
•One of the harshest environments to be out in. Arid Mountainous Environments just absolutely hate you, everything is hard and sharp and wants to poke you. In the hour and a half or so I was out, I was poked and pricked by about a dozen things. The grounds is unforgiving as well, all the loose dirt and rock are just asking for you to slide and twist an ankle or fall down the wash.
•While I was out there I practiced some anti-tracking techniques and plant identification. As well as making a video over the '6 month review' of my BRN-180.
•Desert DPM Smock, OD Green Trousers with Brushstroke Flap Cap, paired with the Baby Pooped RRV was actually pretty effective combo with all the different colourations in the terrain.
□Hope you all found this video informative and thanks for watching!!
