•Yesterday I had the chance to do some hiking up and down some if the washes along the west bank of the Rio Grande at the bottom of the Robledo Mountains.
•One of the harshest environments to be out in. Arid Mountainous Environments just absolutely hate you, everything is hard and sharp and wants to poke you. In the hour and a half or so I was out, I was poked and pricked by about a dozen things. The grounds is unforgiving as well, all the loose dirt and rock are just asking for you to slide and twist an ankle or fall down the wash.
•While I was out there I practiced some anti-tracking techniques and plant identification. As well as making a video over the '6 month review' of my BRN-180.
•Desert DPM Smock, OD Green Trousers with Brushstroke Flap Cap, paired with the Baby Pooped RRV was actually pretty effective combo with all the different colourations in the terrain.
□Hope you all found this video informative and thanks for watching!!

Good review. I have several BRN-180'S, including a Wylde Carbine. Good to see yours is working for you. I see you're still running the 'dog leg' style charge handle. FYI, AT3 tactical has several stiles that don't interfere with rail mounted optics, including a non-reciprocating version and multiple styles of straight and folding charge handles. Cool paint job. Mine are all still 'evil' black.

Really love the entire set-up! The green "baby poop" camo looks really good too.

Nice, I like your brutal honesty. No smoozen trying to seem more or different. Yes, the smock is nice.

I'm waiting for Brownells to make a .308 upper. Then it'd be an AR FAL.

I like that the charging handle is a good empty indicator.

Pretty nice safety feature when you consider hang fire too. How do you know if you didn’t get a light strike on the last round in your Ak mag?

Brother in Christ..it’s easier to just hit the bolt release…a huge reason this platform exists is to have that feature with folding stock in 762x39.

Coming from, well...pretty much any other gun besides an AR-15, I'd prefer to use the charging handle over a button. It may be slightly more work than a bolt release, but I also never have to worry about forward assist. Same as my Vz.58

howdy plaid! i know its not really pertaining to your video but i was wondering if u were still using your m145 scope? and if the machine gun reticle is useful for just a basic 16 inch AR, lotsa scope options out there and was just curious.

Rhodesian camo. Awesome. BRN-180, awesome. And at least the BRN has parts availability. The spring/recoil parts are there. Seems folks agree with having spare parts. I would like to see it use an ar15 bolt but the cam cycle is different
