@loslingos1232Ай бұрын
Really? The drugs were (obviously) illegal therefore he broke the law. Just because it was 'safer' does not mean it's okay. If someone dies from spiked *illegal drugs*, that's their fault. Silk road is a criminal website and he should get like 60 years in prison. Maybe not a life sentence but obviously he should still take responsibility for his crimes. I'm going to be completely honest here, and probably a little controversial, but I think he totally deserved to be locked up for a long, long time. He wasn't directly involved in any of the dirty stuff like the biker gangs, the mafia, and the cartel, but he did sort of end up acting as their boss and main distributor, therefore a major enabler of the atrocities that take place within their ranks. If the FBI story is to be believed, he also intended to kill up to 5 people meaning that he has the morality of a serial killer, he deems his pride to be more valuable than someone else's life and that's pretty inexcusable. It makes sense that such a market exists, but if you go into something like that and go through all the hurdles he did to maintain his anonymity, I think maybe even he knew he had it coming. I'm happy to believe he's misunderstood and ended up in over his head but I'll never believe that he's a good person.
@SwaggeddddddАй бұрын
Yeah someone told the feds he paid the Silk Road owner to kill 5 people but it could easily been a false statement because they didn’t charge him with killing the 5 people. You obviously don’t know what it’s like getting locked up, saying he has morals of a serial killer is bad judgement, no one’s a killer until they kill someone, and people don’t deserve life in prison except killers & rapists and they’re getting out before he is
@msprikoloshaGamesАй бұрын
Finally someone with a brain. Kudos.

@@Swaggedddddd Nobody "told the feds" they literally found the chatlogs on his computer. There is so much misinformation surrounding this it's insane. They caught the conman like 5 or 6 years later when he accessed the crypto wallet Ross had being paying into.
@mlpfan-id1np22 күн бұрын

@@SwaggeddddddYou're correct, I've no idea what it's like to be locked up but what you are suggesting is simply an unfounded conspiracy theory. if what you're suggesting is the truth (for which there is literally no evidence to suggest it is), he operated the largest online criminal enterprise in the world. I don't understand how this goes over peoples heads. Even without the attempted murders, here's a list of criminal offenses that he absolutely and unequivocally is guilty of: Conspiracy to commit money laundering Conspiracy to commit computer hacking Conspiracy to traffic narcotics Operation of a criminal enterprise Trafficking in Stolen Property Conspiracy to Commit Fraud Wire Fraud Tax Evasion Identity Theft Child Exploitation (through his laissez faire moderation of sales of child sexual materials) Weapons Trafficking (The armory) Conspiracy to Traffic Firearms Conspiracy to Distribute Explosives Engaging in the Business of Selling Firearms Without a License Illegal Transfer of Firearms Across State Lines I hope you can understand why his quest for money got him deservedly locked up.

The fact that he mainlined drug abuse with his website simply made cartels even worse, since that enables for them to ship product easily. I don't understand how trump wants mexicans to stay on their side, if he's just going to make it worse by having more cartel activity. Furthermore, Ross should be responsible for the people who died in consuming the product he provided, given that he clearly had no remorse for it, and was rather an egomaniac in his self-proclaimed "manifestos".

I fully agree. The people glorifying him seem to be people who support free use of drugs for some stupid reason. Prob because they're immature and greedy, not know what would happen.

if every drug selling was just online anonymously there would be much less violence in drug dealing, cartel would not need to use guns to "fight for a territory".

Like maybe 7 people died from drugs bought on the Silk Road, 6 of those being related to 25i-NBOMe and the other one being a Microsoft engineer being irresponsible and mixing OxyContin with heroin. Also why the actual fuck would a cartel be selling mass wholesale quantities of drugs online to people that they have NO IDEA about. bffr a cartels moq is like 100 kilos minimum, most Darknet vendors even now are just either some hobby clandestine chemist or some dudes in a shed shipping drugs off independently, stop watching so many mob movies lol

@@loslingos1232 Until weed is legalized in all 50 U.S states and the extremely outdated schedule class of drugs is fixed by the U.S government, it is the fault of the individual for consuming the drugs on a daily basis. They had the choice to refuse to take drugs. They have the right to seek help with managing their drug addiction.

Even not having English as your primary language, there's no way you can accidentally think all first letters of each word should be capitalized. Some of the info you provided was wrong, leaving out some important info and some time frames backwards. But good video altogether, I've been following his case basically since the beginning. I even support the Free Ross movement for several reasons, also there was some proof someone named Lucy Drop had control over Rosses account (DPR) which actually put out the fake hits basically framing Ross. Ross was being blackmailed by several people, Friendly Chemist being a main one which was a part of the Hell's Angels if I remember correctly and had major beef with Lucy. PS Silk Road 2.0 was already a thing lol same with 3.0 and Silk Road Reloaded etc.... Most were honey pots, which is just feds gathering info to catch large sellers and buyers. But a lot of trusted sellers from the original SR are still around to this day like Lemon Drop, Gamma Goblin, etc. And still making successful sales.
