That is very interesting Dan, we fell in love with her within hours of being on her. The only downside was the time it took to get the roof on and off, aside from that a lovely boat. I’ve got another 7 episodes to edit and sort but with our Campervan channel as well it’s likely to take several weeks. I’m really looking forward to sorting the 360 degree footage I have as I think that will be something else. Can I just say, we both love your channel and wait patiently for every episode, keep up the brilliant work. Rich & Lisa

@@WaggiesCruising the older boats definitely have more character. Plus they get you from A to B which is all that really matters. Thank you for your kind words. Editing this series is taking longer than hoped. Serves me right for using 3 different cameras I guess.

In May we walked from How Hill to Ludham bridge and back along a footpath that followed the river (more or less). The river does twist and turn a bit, but I was wondering if that would have been a more direct route for you? On previous holidays we have also walked from How Hill to Ludham village and back, a route along country lanes.

The walk was across fields but fun to do, I guess we were just concerned about getting back before we lost the light.

you could have had BROADSMAN 1 if you wanted to be a bit more up as it has stern & bow thrusters, lovely boat we had her on our last holiday, they have others that's in the BROADSMAN class that you could have had (except BROADSMAN 5 TO 8S i thinks its those in that class), plus they have a few double helm boats that are pet friendly, also every boat at BARNES BRINKCRAFT & BROADS DIRECT in Wroxham are pet friendly including the electric hybrids, Herbert woods in Potter Heigham have all pet friendly boats too

Thank you for that Anthony, we are going to look around for different boats in 2023. We have booked a boat for September but only for 4 days due to work commitments. We had assumed that pets would not be allowed on newer boats and I would totally understand that. I am glad you are enjoying the videos, it makes it worth making them. She is a lovely boat for her age and she has been looked after. Since posting the vlogs I have learnt so much about her and her past. We are now looking about for a boat ourselves but need something that is sea going. Our intention is to keep her somewhere near to where we live in Cornwall and then enjoy two weeks at a time cruising from home to the Broads and then back. How do you find your Seamaster? What do you have? Rich & Lisa

yes you can film the hand over procedure because then you can use it for future reference on other boats that you may hire in the future, I've filmed all my hand overs and nothing said about it in fact they were more talkative on camera, oh by the way the Broad you couldn't remember the name of is BARTON BROAD

Although the Orion is a boat built in the late 70s she is one of the most popular boats hired from Richardsons.

Wow, that is very interesting, at first we were both unsure about it but within a few hours we had fallen in love with it. I have tried to rebook her for September but she’s booked. @@WaggiesCruising With the roof and windscreen down the Orion will go under Wroxham and Potter Heigham bridges at 6-6 you must use the bridge pilot at both bridges. Well worth a trip through Potter Bridge to Horsey and Hickling. 2

Hello Andy, thank you for commenting. I sub to your channel and have started watching your vlogs, I like the keep it simple approach and as you can see my editing skills are zero but what we do we do from the heart to be funny, informative and factual. The title is a little misleading. I thought this was a video about a boat...not the couple that hired it

Sorry the video did not turn out to be what you expected, we have tried to combine our journey and what we have seen. It’s our first attempt at filming our boating adventure and I’m taking all comments onboard, we have tried to do this along the same lines as our Campervan channel which works well. Thank you for your feedback it is appreciated. I shall check out your channel to see what format you use.
