Get an Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Tour of TV's "Bunheads," Hosted by Sutton Foster

Broadway.com headed to Hollywood to get an exclusive tour of the "Bunheads" set, hosted by Sutton Foster. The two-time Tony winner gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at Paradise Dance Academy. "Bunheads" premieres June 11 on ABC Family.

She is-she stopped taking ballet class 17 years ago. She just spent a year doing eight shows a week with extensive tap and jazz numbers. The tap number had 2 vocal verses & choruses followed by a tap break of 6 1/2 minutes and then third vocal verse. The jazz number was an approx. 8 min. long combined dance break & vocal. It's hard to take class when you're doing 8 shows a week.

To people like Boo who don't know if they should try out or not: I've tried out for the same dance group for two years in a row and haven't made it. I plan to try out again next for not only a chance to get in, but for the experience of trying out and knowing what I need to improve on. People often ask 'Why', especially if you know you probably won't make it. I ask 'Why not'

Sorry, folks, but except for Sutton and the four main girls, after the first couple of episodes, I stopped watching, gawd-awful. Reminded me too much of 'Gilmore Girls,' maybe because so many of those actors still had contracts. However, I will say that my favorite scene was Michelle showing the main four girls an 'actual' audition.
