Carwin was the ultimate bar brawler, but no match for Lesnar in the wrestling department, it was only a matter of time. Great fight!

Brock Lesnar is the first person to say his ground game absolutely sucks, his takedown are solid but once he gets you down / you get him down he's clue less. Shane was unstoppable. Wrestler - power puncher 265 pounds.. And Brock with his health problems with diverticulitis and after his first surgery was not 100% healthy and beat Carwin only with his passion. @@walkwithlenin3798 How is Carwin the better overall fighter when he gassed out after Round 1 and then got dominated in the grapple subsequently? If anything it's the reverse, with Lesnar being better overall but Carwin being physically stronger and a superior striker. Once Carwin gassed out, Lesnar's natural athleticism and Division 1 Wrestling took over and got him an absolutely easy takedown followed by the sub. Don't get me wrong, I for sure respect Carwin's power. Lesnar got used to bullrushing his opponents with pure force and Carwin taught him that when it comes to strength and power there's always a bigger fish, but even then Lesnar actually pulled through and showed the power of endurance in a fight by simply outlasting Carwin and then showcasing his NCAA wrestling skill.
