This is been the most beneficial UAD console info I’ve came across on the Internet so far. Despite this being for your broadcasting chain, I found for my own hip-hop vox w/my TLM 102, that this video really bridged the gap with printing a much cleaner result in Console. Thanks so much!🙏🏼

What a mic. You sure manage to get the best out of it! I do agree with you that for broadcasting, your processing is getting a much better result (excellent job, really) than the unprocessed signal. I am thinking of pulling the trigger and getting one myself (for music purposes though), and I am very happy that I happened to find your video and got to see this other side of what it can bring out.

I love your channel. I had to subscribe. I hope I one day get my channel to where yours is. Your videos are very informative and to the point. Nice length and interesting videos that never give you a chance to want to click off. Can’t wait until I get the U87ai. This is my second 103. I love it as a mic that doesn’t add anything to your voice like tube and FET. I wonder does Neumann have the same exact 103 without FET but with a high 200 ohm impedance like the U87ai. With my voice I prefer the 200 ohm impedance but also want a mic that is identical to the 103 but the only difference being a 200ohm impedance

My greetings to you sir! First of all thank you very much for a professional level useful content! I have a question. I have a boom mic MKH50 and TLM103 and also Apollo Twin Duo USB interface. I’m making voiceovers and I have a bright voice. And I regret for not buying U87. Can I equalize TLM103 so much so that it will sound like a U87 or it still will be difference and U87 on unbeatable level in comparison with TLM103?

Hello my friend. Is there any reason that you’re keeping the pre-amp in there low levels? I usually use the Manley Preamp and hit it around 50db and the compression is a bit overwhelming.

I have the TLM107 which is a multi pattern 103 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 103 . Once you use a Neumann you will understand .
