I love TRF. They are a fantastic independent shop. Wish all shops were more like them. Wish there were more independent shops in general.

Kudos to the Ride Factory (Brian) for taking the time to explain the issues and why they fixed/changed out parts..... seen this shop many times over on Shadetree's Channel..but never this in depth......

I live in Spring Hill. There is a bike shop here called West Side Custom Cycle. Great people, fair price, and do great work. They don't do any work without talking to you first and give you options.

Thanks! The plan Is to leave on May 15th or before to meet up with the friend in Panama City then travel across country together. She will be in the new videos that I plan to put out in May. I'm going to try to get one video per week out.

Got curious about the blue bike with the yellow/red CZ logo...it's for Ceska Zbrojovka which translates to Czech Weapons. The word motorcycle in English was to advertise their bikes in the US and UK. They were huge in motocross in the 60's. James Dean's first bike was a CZ.

That is some pretty interesting history. Thanks for finding that out. You're in charge of research from now on.😄

When he was mentioning the years involved, I had heard about the 7-11 problem. Bikes from 07 to 11 had a specific flaw in a bearing and I think one other part. Hopefully he's gotten them all.

It was the compensator spring pack. Harley used the 88 ci. ones for the 96 ci. engine. I already dealt with that a couple of years ago.

That must have been a expensive repair.

It's a Harley.... Translation: Expensive. 😄 Still, a lot less than it would have been at an HD Stealership.

@@harleydrifter l have been very lucky with my Sportster.l have had my Sportster for 25 years and still on the original engine. Ironically I bought it so I would have many places to take it for engine work etc. Now she is 25 years old and no shop will touch her. She doesn't leak oil or burn it . Got a another set of Kenda Kruisers for her. New shoes for a old horse 🐎.
