It is a blast to play MP in this game. One of the few games I like to play PVP. I have peraonally never been much of a PVP person, only when it came to SC2 I guess, back in the day.

I don’t think they’re going to add more factions, they said more specializations for factions. Each specialization for a faction adds a division’s worth of unit types that you are able to add to your deck. Currently there are three for each side (armor, marines, paratroopers), they said they’ll add two more to each side so it’ll be 10 total.

I bet China is going to be 3rd faction no doubt. Every single Russian game that has factions has released China as one of first released factions. Or EU. China is not combat proven yet. Their equipment looks really shiny but never seen in actual combat. Delta wings would definitely be a nice addition to the game. On a second thought, why have the Chinese not provided Russia with their ammunitions or equipment for ongoing war? Wouldn't it be a great time to build up combat experience for them and let the world know about their military strength?

Meh, this game is a good game 5 years ago, we have done Russia Vs U.S. to death, WW3 would be more interesting done between China Vs U.S., everyone has seen the recent war in Ukraine and the threat of Russia is nullifed, China however is an unknown with unknown doctrine, who really needs to see BTRs and BMPs and T90s again?...I expect it to be no better than WARNO which is fucking badass and its soundtrack fucking SLAPS, What I really would like to see is a Vietnam RTS, a good one, one with proper logistics support, but it's too ambitious so instead we get yet another copy and paste WW3/Cold War goes Hot

I would counter with it being a partial simulation and the average player has a deserved expectation that the sides involved are represented faithfully. Since the beta displayed the Russian "military" as somewhat competent and their equipment as fully functional, I'd say they failed.

@@ExSpoonman No, I mean it's a game. For a game to be fun you obviously need to balance it, therefor making the Russian faction shit would be ridiculous. No one would play them then. There is a reason they are giving them T-14s and T-15s, they do not exist as combat ready vehicles in the real world. There are so many things that are not realistic in this game, but it does alot of things in a fun and meaningful way regardless. A good example of this is how planes, AA, artillery etc. acts in the game, in a simulation all of these things wouldn't even be on the same battlefield. But the way they have scaled it still feels logical and represents the power of what each type of weapon brings to a war.

The fact that this company continues to operate in Russia even after the global isolation says a lot. To those unfamiliar with Russian propaganda system everything may seem innocent, but in reality it contributes to creation of myth of Russian military and nuclear power. In reality Russian army is struggling in Ukraine, how could they possible go to war with the USA? It's a shame that Slitherine was so deceived. Or even worse - deliberately ignored the aggressor's propaganda.
