We just released our very first fine-art print collection! Browse it on our newly relaunched website: www.bwturbex.com In the 2021 Print Collection, we feature 12 abandoned places we explored on our travels. These limited edition prints were carefully selected together with @tobi_urbex to represent our favorite sites, and are delivered on premium paper for the best possible quality. "Limited edition prints" means once they sell out in each size, they will never be available again. We will also start working on our 2022 Urbex Calendar next!

What a beautiful place. I’m glad it is going to be saved. It would be sad to see such a work of art go to ruin.
@edi98923 жыл бұрын
Me too. Still, I seriously don't get it that they didn't try to save the removable art, or in the last video the historical books and antique statues. I currently live in Switzerland and the Swiss were really lucky to dodge the bullet twice (both world wars) and thus have a S-ton of buildings ranging from the 12th century to today. Recently, they even discovered a painting from the 12th century in a city-building! This however brings me to the part that makes me angry: the painting had been plastered over by one of the house owners! The same is happening repeatedly in Germany and there it's even worse in that they have a nasty habit of lowering ceilings, which requires damaging the original ceiling to attach the suspended ceiling. Similarly, they got the concept of Entstuckung (removal of 3D plaster, as it was common in chateaux and buildings from the 18th and 19th century) and they even got the audacity to isolate Fachwerk (timber frame waddle and daub) to meet today's energy requirements and that causes the wall to sweat and wood to rot! In Switzerland, they seem to be a bit more careful in such matters, though they isolate those buildings as well by replacing the parts in between the timber frame, but even there, I see so many beautiful buildings left to rot and many are even half a millennia-old! Also, in the city I live, there are multiple villas from roughly 200 years ago that are abandoned and left to crumble (along with the Fachwerk in the city).

Everything about your videos has continually improved. The footage, the location choices, the editing, the voice over, the music. Your camera work has evolved from simply documenting (which is still important) to actual art. That part where you showed the yellow, red, and blue windows one after another? Beautiful! The reflection in the shards of a broken mirror. *chef's kiss

This place is fascinating. I am learning a lot from the images. I run a stand alone Virtual world in which I create things like Castles. These Images gives me ample idea's to make an unusual castle design. Modern exterior with Images such as what you have offered us here in this video. I take the creepiness out of it & replace it with openness & freshness. The idea of medieval times creeps me out & the violence of the time, not to mention the plots the intrigue, the gluttony & sinful nature of regal living. I am so GLAD we don't live like this today, except the top 1 percent of the top 1 percent. These people pollute the world so I am glad they lock themselves away in places like this so the rest of Society can live normal. This Castle has gorgeous appointments, I would like to tour such a place just to feel the atmosphere. I am fidgety atm just taking a virtual walk through in this vide.
