that looks like a cool mud hole, i found some 33x12.5 tires for new centerlines i got and im worried the tires are too big for the dana 28 but the only kind of wheeling i do is the stuff in this video, i keep hearing how i shouldn't put 33's on it, so i gotta ask how is that axel doing? any tips on how not to break it? haha

haha ya i heard that too my suggestions would be, Don't put anything bigger than the 2.9L behind it. Don't "pop" the clutch in a high stress situation (like hill climbing or when your stuck). Don't steer the front wheels hard left or right when they are under a lot of stress. I broke one front axle yoke so far but that was due to previous damage caused by a "dry" cross. you cant get much more traction than i have with these tires, so if you are putting less aggressive tire on that will help too

haven't had much trouble with the axles, shes in the shop right now with no spark, haven't much time to tinker on her though

gotcha, well if you put a board across the back side of the rim and measure down to the face that contacts the hub, that will give you backspacing. You can compare that to the stock rims and see where you stand, if that measurment is 1" or 2" less on your new rims, you may not need spacers
@sheisillme12 жыл бұрын
that should be fine... if they are are 33s, you will need to cut the fenders or put like a 6"lift on jsyk

save your money and just get the right rims, if you go to tirepackage. com you can get some nice gloss black 15x8 rims with a 2.5" backspace that will fit your ranger for under $250 delivered spacers will cost you like $150 and they wont look as nice
