Broncos vs Browns | The details that made the difference

This is a great video that reveals the depth of both the Broncos' offensive savvy and defensive coverage and pursuit. The biggest tell for me was showing how the Broncos' defensive rush contributed to their second pick six that drove the nail in the coffin for the Browns. There was a glaring contrast in the responses of both teams to two turnovers. Ju'Quan McMillian knew when he leaped to pick that pass that he was now playing offense and took off for pay dirt. The intended receiver seemed to have no idea that his job was to get a hand on McMillian. By contrast Jerry Jeudy, who had a stellar day knew his job after the final interception was to play defense and track down Newsome which he did. Thanks again for a great analysis.

Thanks Robert! Really appreciate it. That’s absolutely right, imagine if McMillian is touched down immediately. May have totally changed the game! There is no such thing as a small detail. High football IQ organizations will beat sloppy football (almost) every time.

@@BreakdownBillCody having a somewhat deja vu experience. The emergence of the Broncos as a playoff team reminds me of the St. Louis Rams led by Mike Martz and Vermeil with Kurt Warner coming out of nowhere with Isaac Bruce, Torrey Holt and Marshall Faulk do the heavy lifting with apparent ease.
