This Boca inlet was in really rough shape on that day, all the boats seemed to get hit hard, but the Winning Motions boat surely got taken by Boca, water over the bow and way too slow. The tow boat captain surely knew his stuff, and that first boat, hard for an inlet to win against power like that and the right captain. Another great video by our favorite boat watchers. Keep it up. @@johnbeckwith1361 keep watching these videos and see how that isn't true. Those waves and the current are such that you can't just pick a wave and ride it in. Most boats get as tangled up coming in as they do going out. Lots of submarines and getting turned sideways.

The Rat's Mouth (Boca Raton) Inlet will always win. I grew up in Boca watching the inlets from Hillsboro to Boynton. It is ALWAYS a blast to have the surf up, head out to surf.... and have the added fun of watching the inlet traffic. I was wondering if you would ever cover the Boca Inlet. Well Done!!!

I think the last round goes to the boats. Although he was slow and overly careful he really didn’t get wet or pushed around by the waves and he saved himself a few nights on the couch cause I don’t think going slow was the captains choice. On Miami boat ramps you mentioned the green boats were starting to grow on you but that midnight express in this video was a little too much green for me....in more ways than one. Thanks for the videos.

I've watched so many of these and there are so many head scratchers that go through the inlets. I guess that's part of what makes it so entertaining (along with the key commentary of course). Watching the Cobalt babe in her bikini, lounging in the back of that boat, you can't help but think she had it in her mind to be a magazine cover for the day... cruising a glassy sea, getting a tan, eyes closed, sunglasses on, a light breeze and a cool beverage in one hand. And then out of nowhere, reality smacks her up side the head, she wakes from her fantasy and just about ends up in the drink with no life jacket. Kablew, kapplam, kappling!

The woman in the last clip has obviously been through this several times. Sitting in the very rear of the boat where waves have the least effect on the boat is something you learn after taking some spine jarring waves in the front. Personally I wouldn't be caught dead sitting through waves like these though.

Boca... Sea Tow handled it extremely well because he is a professional, and I'm not sure he should count. The reason commercial airliners are able to deal with turbulent conditions in the sky and are able to mitigate some of the effects, is due to their professional status, just like the Sea Tow captain.

Being a Cobalt owner (not "the" Cobalt owner), I believe the conversation went like this: Captain: Hon, you can't set back there. Its not safe and probably illegal. Come into the cockpit. Mate: It'll be fine. If it gets rough, I can hold on. Captain, to himself: Boca Inlet, time to provide instruction. Because Inlet: A couple of these should do the trick. Mate: Ooh! Oh! I think I'll move into the cockpit. Captain: (To both) Thank you!
