I see a brookie like that and I can’t imagine how excited you must have been when you set the hook. Similar to buck fever but we get to practice catch and release so that tomorrow we all might catch more trout. Be proud of yourselves for on this day you were able to find yourself on a Michigan brookie stream. Best place in the world

That last trout was a beaut'. I think at one time in my life I have caught a 12-incher. Lots of 9's and 10's and if I had a dollar for every sub-legal brook trout... I'd be rich! Nice video. Thank you for sharing.

Awesome video! I’m actually going to be in the yoop later this week and was thinking about one of ‘the carps’, not trying to get your spot or anything but was curious if this is the river closer to m bridge or if it’s the carp way north…completely understand if you choose not to say!
