Brook also spoke about her mom being unusually obsessed with her, did not allow her to have friends, any personal space and she had to be whoever her mom wanted her to be. She has no self identity and her mom had no life outside of her. It was unnatural and affected her a great deal… not to mention mom was a major alcoholic.

@user-kj1pq6zh3x yes she said that on drew barrymore. Basically she said her mom ensured she would stay a virgin and Terri was also cut off from her sensuality cause of how in love she was with brooke

If she is here today, all because of her mother's intelligent strategies and planning. She got a college degree (from a prestigious uni) and protected by her mother strongly in a real "jungle" industry. If she didn't end up as a waste in such a difficult environment, it is because of her mother. Even today her mother (by being used here and there) helps her selling her books or finding a place in front of cameras with coloured inflated drama subjects. Please enough already.

Wow ! So tight a bond like siamese twins 🔥 Brooke"s connection with her Mum sounds like that of Christina B and her famous music guru mum, Whitney Houston..(R.I.P) So unique that she couldn't even entrust her daughter with a 3rd party. I'd like to hear how it progressed in both her ❤ and career lives. How was she able to advance these two without her Mum letting her go ? ❤prah Daily, kindly take us to the next plot of their lives.

She was a real MOM. Thank God those predators couldn't get to you. I often wonder about other parents when I hear those horrible casting couch stories.

Yeah but if that’s true, then how was it even possible for any mother with good sense to give an okay to a movie like “Pretty Baby” and a modeling career that basically sexualized her as a little girl?? I suppose the easy answer is fame & fortune. But I’m hoping Oprah asked that question somewhere in this interview.

@@Bentom86Romans 10:9-11 says, "If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved".Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.❤😊

@Bentom86 I was just going to say this as this was the first thing that went through my mind also. On the one hand yes she was protected by all those wrong uns in the industry yet allows her to do pretty baby & the modelling stuff even blue lagoon she was still only 14 ffs. Talk about double standards. All very strange & being over protective yes has helped her in many ways but still very unhealthy & toxic. Too many think you have to be a total control freak parent or a bad parent but both are not healthy. A balanced stable parent needs to allow them room to breathe & think for themselves without being over controlling or neglectful 😕 😢
