Love that you’ve emphasized how important a happy team are. People hear “un-trained” (formally) and they hear “low-skill” or “replaceable”- and nothing could be further from the truth. Especially if that individual has been working with you from as you’ve grown.

My husband was concreting on the site next door to ur bakery. He came home on my birthday after work with a single chocolate cookie. It was the most gorgeous, decadent, fudgey, soft cookie ever. I was like where the frik did u get this from and he told me there’s always a huge lineup so he knew it’d be something I’d like. He’s not into that kinda stuff so he didn’t even try it, he’s so strange. But anyway since coming across ur shorts I’ve really been enjoying watching ur content!! Ur so inspiring. I know ur tired obviously ur work is ur entire life right now but just know what ur doing is truly impressive u should be so proud and just know there are so many people who are in awe of ur dedication and hope to create something like what you’ve done here. Congrats and wish u all the best.

my parents owned a bakery for my whole life and just sold it last year. It holds such a special place in my heart. All of my siblings and friends worked there throughout high school and college and it was so wholesome. We would always bring the leftover goodies to neighbors and teachers and retirement communities, and everyone came to know us for it. So special ❤❤❤ Hope you stick with it for as long as possible!

Ohh my, what happened? Did you discontinue the family business completely now?
@emilydean43098 ай бұрын
They sold it a few years ago. Unfortunately the family I have in North America is small and neither my brother or I cared to take it over as we both had different passions. It is still well-loved in the local community under different ownership ❤

I love how proactive you are. As a nutritionist, I would very much recommend that you make yourself sleep not less than 7 hours every night, drink more water, preferrably warm bordering on hot and actually eat at least 2 real meals instead of brownies. You don't want your health breaking down and you getting stuck in hospital for lengthy periods with diseases arising from sleeplessness and poor diet. Ask me how I know...Wishing you every success with your bakery! 😊

You realize the most recent 9 minute video probably took 5+ hours of editing right? Not accounting for having to talk to the camera whilst working. She works like 14h shifts 6-7 times per week. This is much more than enough effort. if you want to see videos so bad do what shes doing yourself.

Hi Brook. Great business you have there. I have seven bakery stores in the south of England and 120 staff. Once you can bake the next big hurdle is definitely understanding the psychology of people and growing a reliable and consistent team. Thats a long journey when the actual baking in the early years takes up most of your waking hours. Once you master the "people hurdle" growth becomes a whole lot less stressful. I wish you well and will watch your progess ❤

I bought some more Crocs recently because i have terrible foot problems and when i am at home they allow me to walk with less pain. When i was looking at the Crocs website i saw the does for health- and food industry-workers Apparently they confirm to a number of safety staff so i assume that they protect against needle stick injuries from dropping syringes and blade injuries from scalpels and kitchen knives

Just to prepare a batch of 12 cookies feels like an effort and the pots to wash after making a cake in a kitchen with little space so to imagine multi-tasking a Bakery is mind blowing and getting all them batch metrics right /on point and all them cakes to perfection! The cost of equipment is expensive also. The scary thing is ensuring you don't have a cake flop or sunken middle so it's very admirable when you see people just getting on with an ambition just via inspiration and selling a nice product. You need a certain knack for patisseries. that's for certain most people need to go to a College to learn the skills. Jealous lol. Stressful is what we need to hear because nothing ever comes easy.
