Hi! New viewer here, loved the video! I am a dreamer and would love to open up my own cafe one day. Im curious what licensing and everything you had to go through to open up and own a bakery?

As far as I remember, I had to set up a business tax account, and an account with the health department. You’ll also need people to have their serve-safe certifications, schedule an inspection with the health department. Our attorney set up the business as a small corporation, so I’m not sure what was needed for that but you can also go llc or DBA if it will just be you. I’d ask an accountant what they think would be best for the business you plan on opening.

I’m in NC now but this had me missing my hometown!!!! It has been 8 years since I’ve been home. I was watching shorts until I saw one of yours. I saw out the window as you said something about moving to the Central Valley so I thought maybe I’ve been to that area. Born and raised in Visalia.
