Damn some of these comments are so harsh. At least she's being honest about not sticking to her skincare routine every night. I still think she's pretty and fresh and looks real, unlike a lot of people nowadays who get too much filler. Plus she's funny which is always attractive.

Yes she is pretty and real. I don’t agree with fresh. I’m concerned that if she DOES care, then she HAS to change her skincare, or lack thereof immediately. If not things are going to get bad really quick. From early thirties to early forties, is really a shift in hormones, thus skin starts going downhill quick without care. She doesn’t look great for only 32 😕 I mean, as an esthetician, I’ve seen worse. But the situation is bleak if she keeps this up even another two years. Now she may not care, and that’s perfectly fine. There ARE women who don’t care. But in the industry she is in, her looks are part of her job security so it’s just surprising.

I used to think the same thing, but my heavily acne prone skin of 5 years reached a whole new level of misery when I was diagnosed with lupus 2 years ago, so I tried an precleanse oil and follow-up face oil as a last ditch effort. My skin has literally never looked better or been healthier over the last 10 years, since even before my skin started flaring up. Sure I have a blemish every once in a while, but nothing compared to what it once was. It is just glowing all the time, which I've never experienced before now. You just have to really pay attention to what's in them because some oils promote congestion, but the good ones actually mimic your skin's sebum production which helps balance your skin out because it's no longer overproducing and clogging your pores. Many clean oils are actually anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and capable acne prone skin without stripping it of its natural oils. In my personal experience, I swear by the precleanse oils by Goop and True Botanicals, as well as their face oils. I've thrown away literally everything that came before them. They are worth the investment and a little goes a long way. True Botanicals even has a "Clear" collection targeted toward acne prone skin, which I use everyday. @@priyanka0183

I think that skincare really depends on one’s skin. I have oily, sensitive acne-prone skin and I double cleanse (kiehl’s midnight recovery oil+ Vichy pureté thermale gel cleanser) as I’ve noticed it removes my SPF and possible dirt from the day better. I used to use products that were targeted only for oily acne prone skin and my skin was in real bad shape (When I’d wake up, it would be as if I had slathered cooking oil on my face...) Also, since I used to hide my acne with foundation, so it probably didn’t help either. But I only wear powder every now and then and have less acne. What works for one person may or may not work for another (for ex: i found that oconut oil doesn’t work for me whereas it works for all my friends). I don’t see those videos as education for my personal skincare hygiene. Most of them are getting facials +/- injections that we (or at least I) can not afford on a regular basis... On another note, drinking during pregnancy? Please no...

The Is Clinical Pro Heal Serum is NOT a replacement in any way for a retinol or retinoids. It’s first 3 ingredients in order are water, ascorbic acid, denatured alcohol. At best it’s a vitamin C serum with some good ingredients. But when denatured alcohol is listed within the first 5 ingredients you are considerable risk for sensitising and damaging your skin. Does no one read ingredient lists? Vinter’s Daughter also, phew! 😧

@charlotter13125 жыл бұрын
@@shannonjhn no you can't even if it's like once your child could have FAS.
@cv30835 жыл бұрын
I personally wouldn’t recommend alcohol at all because we simply do not know the limits on what amount is acceptable before FAS kicks in. However, it’s false information to say absolutely no alcohol because, keep in mind, there are plenty of women who consumed alcohol while being unaware they were pregnant and ceased as soon as they found out. Also, I went to an Ivy League university whereby the professor showed us studies on the issue. There are other countries in the world that do not subscribe to the USA’s zero tolerance policy. So an American might say none, a non-American might say a glass of wine once in awhile. I say none because I think it’s selfish to risk the quality of life for your child since we don’t have a concrete evidence on what the exact limit is.

Washed face once a week...”I’m so glowy”
@michaelafischer61774 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of mistakes here, for sure, but the freak-out in the comment section is a bit hilarious. Clearly, she has very resilient skin, which some people just do. (Serena Williams, I'm looking at you and your beautiful skin that's somehow the product of coconut oil over half-removed make-up.) If you have reactive, easily congested skin, much like myself, doing this routine would destroy your face in less than a week, but she looks great, clearly. She's gonna do what she wants, and I say, let live. For one, not everyone can cope with basic hygiene when new babies come along. People wash their hair less or stop shaving their legs, and some people will go to bed still wearing make-up from sheer exhaustion/lack of sleep. Sometimes it's post-natal depression. Other times, people pick themselves up again once they adjust. Just don't take her routine as any kind of actual advice. Plus, as others have pointed out, celebrities have access to a huge amount of clinical-strength skin treatments and aesthetician appointments (some literally see a facialist every day prior to important events or during heavy filming schedules!), which goes a huge way to countering damage and improving skin resilience. With a facialist on-set to work with you, you might just get away with "church cleansing" and never moisturising, etc. Regular folks can't afford anything like that, so we need to be preventative and responsible with our skincare. Do right by yourself, but don't stress-out over celebrity skincare routines.

@@arianamomoiu1767 I am not proud of it, I am just stating the fact that there is nothing wrong with sleeping with your make up on every now and then. Of course, it isn't something that you should do every night because it is good to let the skin breathe. There is no need for you to be condescending. I can guarantee you that what actually broke you out had little to do with sleeping with your make up on and more to do with things like hormones, what you ate, etc. If sleeping with your make up on caused you to break out, wearing it would make you break out as well.
