Since I was curious, and I’m sure I’m not the only one!, about the oil that she used as a topper at the end. It’s strictly just a mixture of various oils. It has no cleansing agents in it. They market it as an oil cleanse and a moisturizer. Meaning an oil cleanse of pure oils. Thought I would clear up any confusion, including my own lol!

@Autumn Rose I genuinely don’t, sorry. Essential oils are heavily processed for example, but they’re often considered natural.

@eae-l2x3 жыл бұрын

@RocketCandyColored3 жыл бұрын
Hmm they’d probably point out that she uses a salicylic acid mask after exfoliating, which would be harsh and drying for the skin (salicylic acid is already an exfoliant), and the fact that she doesn’t include a sunscreen. Oh well haha
@eae-l2x3 жыл бұрын
@@RocketCandyColored it’s fine if her skin can handle it and it looks like it can. Some people are able to use multiple actives in a single routine and some can’t. She also didn’t use sunscreen bc it’s a nighttime routine.
@RocketCandyColored3 жыл бұрын
@@eae-l2x ha you’re right I didn’t realize it was a nighttime routine because it seemed like it was filmed during the daytime. If her skin is dry though, she should stop the double exfoliation.

Honestly curious,would putting on a cleansing oil at the end of your routine be a bad thing/ Or is it just like putting on any other facial oil at the end of your routine??
@sinthunathan55113 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing, but no one commented on it other than you 😂 but i guess if you dont rub it it just stays on as a “topper” like she calls it?

@@sinthunathan5511 I don't know I was thinking like maybe there is special cleansing ingredients in it that might be bad if left on the skin? Eh she has nice skin so ya maybe it does just act as a topper.

Hey, so I have the answer because I have purchased this oil before! It's not an emulsifying cleansing oil at all, it is sort of a multi-purpose oil which you can use to cleanse or moisturize with (but instead of the emulsification type of cleanse, you just rub it in and then wipe it off with a cloth, it's kind of a pain in the ass). So, it's basically like putting any other oil at the end of your routine because there are no actual cleansing agents in it. It's a very ~crunchy granola~ kind of brand, organic and whatnot.

nAtuRaL....the exfoliation may be a bit much though, 2 back-to-back (cuz i believe the rice polish from tatcha has enzymes in it, too? so that'd be 2 masks that exfoliate, with one physically exfoliating and both chemically exfoliating), glad to see a double cleanse though (you win some, you lose some)
@chandracox68143 жыл бұрын
Yup! Way too much exfoliating going on which is probably why her skin ends up super oily....its likely extremely dehydrated from all that exfoliants and produces more oil than normal.

@rinieloire3 жыл бұрын
She did it wrong in first step which can cause blind pimple. When cleaning with oil, you MUST EMULSIFY CLEANING OIL which means after massaging oil on your face to remove make up, you wet your hands and massage your skin, to emulsify the cleansing oils. You will find the oil dissolving under your fingers and turning a milky white. This is what removes the oily feeling on the skin. After a while, wet your hands again with a little more water and massage again. Until no more oil feeling on face left, that when you can clean face with foam cleanser......Double Cleaning is great, but you must do it right.
