Grace is the real life Pied Piper. When she sings her words will put you in a trance . And you have pictures in your mind. Its so dam hard to explain. But i love every second listening to her.

While Grace's lyrics are always top-notch, all of these songs except for the first one are covers. The original poster was mistaken. "We Fell In Love In October" is by the artist girl in red. "Fade Into You" is by Mazzy Star

"Brutally" was composed by Suki Waterhouse, the English actress, supermodel and singer-songwriter who is engaged to one of Grace's big crushes, Robert Pattinson.

When I first heard this line up, I thought the first 3 were her originals. I already knew Mazzy Star’s ‘Fade In To You”. But I didn’t know about the other 2 being covers. But you know what? The quality of her writing is so great that she has scores of others that ARE originals that are wonderful and make up for that mistake. And, plus, ‘Autumn’, her original, is so beautiful, it’s easy to just think she wrote them all. But her voice and arrangements make the covers sound like originals.

Howdy daX. Yes, as it's been duly noted that Autumn is the only Grace original here, but She picks out these songs to cover for a reason; possibly because they express what she feels, or some other unknown reason. I do love a mystery tho', lol. It's amazing, like you say, how there's nobody else that can connect emotionally with a listener with such empathy, absolutely nobody...She literally seems to actually become the person and message of the song. ...And yes, you and me and whoooole lotta' others have been trying to find somebody who can get to you right in the feels like our Grace does. It's spooky cool, huh? I personally think it's all in her voice, i'm not going to get into all of my usual ontological esoteric stuff here about the source of that magical, mysterious voice of hers here, but as you've said it yourself here and so many other times, it's truly Mozart, Die Lorelei, Circe-esque level unique, that's for damn sure....And once she draws you in, you're a goner, lol. Once you go down the rabbit hole with Grace, you better pack more than a brown paper bag lunch, you ain't comin' outa' that rabbit hole aaaaaanytime soon, lol! And in addition, she also actually makes these covers of other's songs 100% her own, completely eclipsing the originals! Once again, just like you, I can't think of ANYBODY else so adept at this. It's simply nuts! Thanks for this reaction daX, I always love seeing you get all jacked up! Whooo-Hooo! You know, Harold, I enjoy coming into some of these grace videos completely ignorant of context. Because of her authenticity, I was sure that all of these were her own. Truly, as you say, she embodies the song, and makes it into something wonderful and sublime. The rabbit hole, indeed, my friend!
