I saw Ronnie Dunn at Big Valley Jamboree years ago. Toby Keith was not was not able to perform because of laryngitis. Ronnie stayed on stage for at least an extra hour and put on a show that I’ll remember forever

Sammy Hagar, very talented. B&D, incredible. Wish they would record some of the songs written and sung by my friend, David Griggs ... we recorded them back in 1974-75, and these guys would make them great. Our stuff was ahead of country music at the time, and few in Nashville would even open the tape boxes we sent out. I used to play in the same place that the Allman Joys played for the later bottle club, in downtown Jacksonville, FL on West Forsyth Street: Place called, The Comic Book Club. That was the same era (1966-67) that The One Per Cent was playing there. Gracious. Not many places have a water bottle hanging out on the shoulder of a Martin ... And this was great!!

My grown son and I went to see Brooks & Dunn with Alan Jackson in Alabama ...WOW what a concert!!! Outdoor venue was packed, raining a bit, nobody cared one nickel about the rain!! ))

I took my youngest son for his birthday down to Evansville Indiana this past May. Three and half hour drive from Cincinnati. The crowd were so in tune. You can’t buy memories like that.. we fished just this morning, and he can’t wait to go again. Thank you Brooks and Dunn for making that your first stop. He’ll never forget his 19 th birthday!!

@RonnieDunn285 Originally from Montana but moved to Oregon, to a small coastal vacation town, and did my 3-12 schooling there. Great place for a kid to grow up. Major rivers to boat and fish in, the ocean of course, dunes to drive crazy in, lakes for water skiing … lots of other things to do as well. Still quite vacant, hope it stays this way.
