I wrote a comment earlier about how much I enjoyed this video, but it turned out to be very cathartic as well. I haven’t played guitar in months, after a period of illness. I’ve been well enough to play for a while now, and I often think about playing, but I just haven’t been feeling it. Something about watching these two great musicians hanging out, talking about music, playing music, lit a spark in me that ignited a need to share in the joy of making music. F the tv, I warmed up the amp, got my gear set up, plugged in my Strat, jammed to some great tunes, and had a good ol’ time. I just hope this blister doesn’t take too long to heal! The power of music is universal and eternal!

Sammy says aliens kidnapped him and altered his future and gave him his gift. I know I would not believe that statement either without having done mega research on abductions. People are now realizing that aliens are very real. For those that do not believe do some research because to reflexively deny this or think it impossible is a great big huge mistake. People are starting to pay more attention and things are changing quickly. We know they're real.

Awesome stuff! I was 10 in 1975 when my older sister ordered records from the record club back then; one of the LPs they sent her that she didn't want was ZZ Top - Fandango. I saw these guys on the cover in cowboy hats and Nudie suits, and said to myself, WTF is this? I decided to play it, loved it, and 47 years later I haven't looked back! ZZ still kicks ass! These 2 have been heroes to me forever. Recently I saw Billy do a show with some Austin locals... Jimmie Vaughn, Whipper Layton, Sue Foley, etc. called "The Jungle Show" at Clifford Antones bar/stage on 6th Street. Seeing him at a small venue like that was a huge huge treat. Billy of the '70s, esp. early '70s, was absolutely killer with the staccato notes, wicked vibrato, etc. He hasn't played like that in decades.
