2022 BMW M4 Competition xDrive: Launch Control, Exhaust, Test Drive, POV and Review

I'm usually not the biggest fan of bright colored two tone interiors but wow, this color combo is outrageous! Never thought it would be for an exterior color such as this one but it blends in nicely. That grill though, still needs time to grow on me, not saying it's trash but it's something that may start looking better as time progresses.

I would agree!!! Not sure about owning this color combo, but definitely the seats lol! Yeah it's not for everyone, but I think it works on the M cars!

That's a tough one, but I think I'd go with the M4! The C8 is a cool car and I have a lot of seat time in that, it's fun to drive and I love how the roof comes off! But these seats and this color and how practical it is with back seats, I'd take this! What about you!?

@@BrosFOURRSpeed I ended up going C8 HTC, mainly because it satisfies a childhood dream of owning a mid-engine car and it is substantially lighter and a bit more attractive than the M4. That said, I was totally impressed with the M4 and M3 and they were most definitely my back-up plan.

According to BMW, 0-60 is listed at 3.4, and people have been recording under 3 Seconds... where are you getting the 3.8 reading from?

How would you compare this to the CT4-V Blackwing?

This BMW M4 is much quicker! The Cadillac is cool, but a sedan VS a coupe. They are very different vehicles! If you want a sporty sedan, the CT4 is nice! We had the chance to drive the CT4 V Blackwing in the mountains and it was fun! So really just depends on if you need four doors or not, but much different! CT4: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXWkY3-elrl1gc0

Cool video - that said, you didn't use Launch Control there. For you to use that you need to be in DSC OFF, D3 put your foot to kickdown and the car should let you know "Preparing Launch control", then "Launch control active" (or something similar)

I definitely had launch control activated! I did it a few times because it’s a funky system, but I showed it correctly once.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed At precisely 18:38, you take your foot off the brake and begin accelerating before LC had fully set itself up. You're building boost and loading the converter with torque, but you accidentally jumped it just a second too early before it was ACTUALLY ready. Still quite a fast 0-60, anyway.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed In the UK, we don’t get the 6MT sadly. And also, RWD can be had in the Competition models. The reason why I would get xDrive is because RWD can be a pain driving in the snow.

I have really come around to the M4 and it's look. I preferred the M3, but now I'll take a M4, a M4 convertible to be exact. Spot on about the grille, on the regular 4-Series the grille looks awful, but here it works due to all the aggression of the bodywork.

I don’t mean to be that guy, but you launched it incorrectly which is Ok! I’d sit there for longer on the launch so more boost is built, you can also launch this in 2nd gear.

The problem with this car is that the back view is weak compared to its predecessor. The F82 looks a lot meaner from the back, wider and meaner than this M4 for sure

Some websites say 2.8, some say what I stated. I don’t believe this can do 0-60 in under 3 seconds. It’s a fast car, but not that quick.
