Audi R8 Ultimate Buyers Guide | WATCH THIS FIRST

👋 In todays video we are going to go over all the information that you need in regards to one of the most iconic cars ever! We are talking about the Audi R8! This was the first "supercar" from Audi and was a first to introduce day time runnings lights as well in the car industry! The Audi R8 is a two seater, mid-engine car with all wheel drive and has so many driver focused characteristics to make it a great car to drive! Over the production years for this car, there were only two generations! The vehicle in the video is a first generation Audi R8 V8 with the sought after gated manual transmission! An R-tronic automatic was also available, but it wasn't the smoothest transmission and very clunky. The Audi R8 is available as a coupe or spyder and there's two different engine options!
The second generation Audi R8 ditched the manual and changed to the S-tronic transmission which was a whole lot smoother and made for a better driving car!
The Audi R8 shares a lot of it's DNA with the Lamborghini Gallardo and even with the Huracan which is cool to see! It's basically a Lambo with an Audi shell!
The Audi R8 has been my all time favorite car and to own one has been so much fun! It's a car that I highly recommend because of the old school feel and how it's just you and the car! It still has some "modern" amenities for being this old, like heated seats, parking sensors and of course AC! So it has the creature comforts to daily drive, but the old school feel that I personally enjoy more! The newer models have even more technology of course and provides a similar feel! But for me, the manual is what really gives it that driver enthusiast drive!
Overall, the Audi R8 is such a cool exotic supercar and it's sad to see 2024 is the last year for this iconic car!

I'm in the same boat right now, just different order. I have a JDM in the form of a 350Z HR, got my manual V8 R8, and thinking of getting a daily-able V8 Muscle. Not done much research so far, what car(s) do you have in mind?

@@pkbeast Awesome! That manual r8 must be a thriller. I’ve always liked mustangs so I was considering either a Mach 1 or Shelby gt350 due to the styling, performance, uniqueness, and price point. I think the Mach 1 would probably daily better.

@@ericB3444 not even sure how to respond to that..never talked about a Supra in this video either… But I’d buy a Supra over a Camry all day….but if you don’t need/want a performance sportscar, and you want a 4 door sedan, completely different buyers… NO ONE is cross shopping a Camry and Supra, so no clue why you are saying all that..buy what you want..
