Or, you know, women could come up with their own original characters and storylines and not try to latch off the success of a male character by forcing diversity and hoping the fanbase consumes it based association with the previous product...I don't get how these claims are free to go, but if I went out and said we need a male Wonderwoman aka Wonderman or a white Black Panther aka White Panter I'd be at best laughed at and at worst accused of sexism, racism, bigotry and whatever catchphrases are popular these days (I'm probably a rapist too even if I don't know it I mean Gillette told me so, so it must be true) How about, instead of invading straight, white, male role model characters invited by and targeting a straight, white, male audience you actually invent your own stuff, instead of forcing everything to be homosexual, racially diverse or on "the gender spectrum"... There are original products out there featuring every sort of character but guess what, they aren't as successful worldwide because 99% of the world DOES NOT CARE about the gender, or race, or ethnicity, or sexual orientation of their characters and as soon as you start mixing it in they go "No thanks fam" and don't consume your product... You can make a female 007 but it will have the same success as the female Ghostbusters AKA extreme community backlash by forcing gender stereotypes into beloved franchises just so you can scream "Whamen did this".

I am sad to see another franchise fall victim to the lack of creator's imagination. Stop trying to shoehorn females into male roles. It. Does. Not. Work. I once held Pierce Brosnan as the ultimate 007. After this, I think he might be the reason I stop watching the franchise all together.

How is that supposed to work though? And if anything I saw have an original story inspired my James Bond but a direct sequel or spin off would be weird. Also are we disregarding Atomic Blond and Red Sparrow as recent female lead spy movies? There probably a bunch more but I haven't been watching any movies recently ...
