Brother Knitting Machine Garter Carriage KG95 how I strip and clean without dismantling too much

A brief overview how I service a garter carriage.
I don't show stripping it down as there are other videos by " theAnswerlady " which details this.
I take off all the electronics.
You need to desolder the socket where your power plugs into, in order to remove the electronic control board.
With all electronics removed I use a blower to blow out dust and fluff / pieces of yarn and place the unit into a deep plastic container.
I pour 5L of Turpentine over the unit and allow to soak for around 10 minutes. Using a small paintbrush clean off all old excess grease and dirt.
Once clean place on paper and allow to dry.
Spray liberally with WD40 as this removes moisture and helps with some lubrication
Use lithium grease to grease up all parts
Reassemble and oil where the counter is as this may stick and cause the counter to malfunction. Beware of getting oil on and switches nearby.

You scare and inspire me every day. Can you please show us How to actually get the carriage to the point you are at in this video, and then back to working order - the next time you have a need to do this. I really want to learn this skill. I am sure my motors will need replacing soon.
