Brother MFC-L8900CDW Unboxing, Walkthrough, ​and Review

Doing research on this printer I really couldn't find any consumer videos talking about what I feel is the top end best all-in-one printer for the home or small business. I really think that anyone who needs a printer that will also do duplex scanning, copying and faxing should consider this particular model above all else.

Absolutely blown away by the speed and quality of this printer. Just scanned an 80 page manual manual via the ADF and it scanned the whole thing to pdf in under a minute. Print quality is amazing, especially color half tone.

I bought mine just recantly. and I got to say. Am very happy with it and it is a much better printer over the brother MFC-9340CDW. This MFC-L8900CDW printer does a much better job printing and coping.

I wonder if one can print from iPads and iPhones wirelessly. Can an iPhone see this printer if within the same local network? I am thinking about buying one for home use, but like to be able to print directly from iPhones and iPads. Thanks for the good review of the printer!

Yes you can use Airprint within the same local network.

I am having problems with the print quality . the ink leaves gaps and smears . I have to throw away 50% of our prints. also , the first page takes for ever on our network. Maybe it would be better on Ethernet cable.

I don't understand why you think a numeric keyboard is 'a "big reason" for getting this printer. You mention ease of entering passwords. Passwords should be numbers, letters, and special characters, not just numbers. I am expecting my MFC-L8895CDW in the next day or two, so I'm not sure if brother only allows numbers for a password. Can you elaborate? Thanks and great review. Your review was a big part of me buying the MFC-L8895CDW (according to Brother website, a new model that is nearly identical to the MRC-L8900CDW).

Jason White This printer has Duplex scanning, printing, coping and faxing. It's the real deal. I own one. :)

I think you need to remove the word "Unboxing" from your title. Simply sliding off the main box is certainly NOT unboxing. Imagine if a stripper only removed her shirt but not her bra, you certainly wouldn't call her a "stripper". Seeing the word "unboxing" in your title was the reason I wanted to view your video, but I stopped at 50 seconds.
