they are rich, most of the people in Hawaii are working 2-3 jobs and struggling to find housing....it is not a la-la-land. I also live on Maui, and my life is not like theirs, I have a full time job, and sometimes do not see the beach for weeks, neither does my husband, who is a doctor on Maui and spends most of the time at work, not on the beach.

But we're going economical. Selling our house in Chicago, purchasing land on a mortgage, and building a 30' yurt for cash. To keep costs of living down, and have as much down time as possible.

Please everyone should do prevention and wear helmets it only takes one injury to fuck up a person for life. Better safe than sorry. My lovely I'm a 21 year survivor, once you've really hurt your brain once , any new slight injury can really be devastating, I'm glad you are going slow, being mindful and respecting your limits.
