What most people don't realize here is that there are certain instances where the criminal gets shot but neither party are at fault so to speak. The Breonna Taylor incident is one of those.

The cop chose to escalate the situation and was clearly the aggressor. As they guy was attempting to run away, no amount of deadly force was justified. That cop was just mad that he could not manhandle the taller guy. That is what can happen when cops demand that people exit their vehicles for "officer safety" reasons. Yes, cops can order you out of your vehicle by US Supreme Court rulings. However, in order to then perform a "Terry frisk" they must have reasonable suspicion they someone is carrying a weapon in order to perform that frisk. That point is nearly always overlooked as to them they can frisk anyone they want, even someone walking down the street doing nothing. Hopefully that cop is not only prosecuted (which is not likely) but also is stripped of his qualified immunity for civil actions.
